Description

Wife needed a new gaming computer. This is one I built for her. Originally did not want the cooling hoses to be near the back exhuast fan, but they did not bend very well facing the other direction. Overall I felt pretty good about this build. I am impressed with the case design. Love the filters.

if this is from like very recently you might REALLY want to consider sendthat that 680 back and getting a 770 its cheaper and has more power or hell for that price get 2 1.11Ghz 760's SLI and you'll have over titan level power for about $530

This card was given to me from my brother. I would have went with a cheaper one than this if I was going to spend money on a Graphics card. However I will take your suggestion on the computer I am building for myself.

It's a nice build however I hope you owned that MS7 full already ... that's a huge chunk of the budget which could've gone to some other places

That being said I don't know what games your wife plays/how demanding they are so I'm sure that the 680 runs them outstandingly

Nice build and +1 for having a wife that loves to game with you!

I had the graphics card, OS, and drives previosly before I built this.

Very nice then! I just cringe sometimes when I see people spend that much on an OS but hey if you have it already/honestly need it then ya I have no complaints

I saw that you built this about 6 months ago so the 680 was a great choice although pretty expensive.

Again it's a very nice build and you did a great job with cables on top of that

Your wife should be very happy

I'd say that you should have saved money on the ram (16gb is lots for gaming, dare I say too much?), but all your parts are already pretty good so w/e.

Basically, if I could +2, I would

Nice build. I love getting stuff for free or re-using it in later builds. Offset cost flow is great.

Regarding getting the wife to game, I just introduced mine to the Game Dev sim on Steam. Now I kinda wish I wouldn't since I haven't seen my gaming computer for the last two weeks...
