I did some updates to my build.
First, I updated the monitor to a Dell ultrasharp U2713HM but I ended up returning it. The response of image was just too much in FPS. I was making games unplayable; so, it went back.
Second, I got a chance to sell my Galaxy GTX660ti in a very good price and decided to get a EVGA GTX690. I will post pictures of the card and the build, together with some benchmarks later on.
Also, I update my 500GB hard drive to a 1.5TB. I was running out of space for steam games..
Gtx 990 was giving me compatibility issues. I returned it and got and EVGA GTX 770 SC. No more issues.
Dell U2713HM is not recommended for FPS. I returned because of input lag that made games unplayable,
I got one of those Korean 27 " 1440p monitor from ebay and end up been a great investment. Colors of the PLS Samsung panel are bright and definition is amazing compared to Asus VS247H-P, it easily overclocked to 110Hz and I think the refresh rate is the same or above the Asus. Definitely, it is way better for gaming than the Dell U2713HM and cost almost half.
Say farewell to the EVGA GTX 770 and wellcome Galaxy GTX 780 Hall of Fame.
Bad luck with the HOF. Core was dropping speed to almost a half on heave load. Just returned the HOF and got a Lightning in stead. This card is massive and I have the remove the tooless latches on the back of the case to fit it. My Logitech G700 die on me and Logitech was nice enough to sende a G700s as replacement.
thanks for looking.
