I use it for web browsing, light gaming (although now, I may try CoD or Crysis!) home paperwork, watching movies. I haven't even fired it up yet as I have no OS for it. Hopefully the OS will arrive on Monday, June 17th, 2013.
OS installed, computer up and running just fine. Win7 taking abit to get used to but, over all, it has performed as I expected it to.
Temps at Idle: CPU: 35 C GPU: 34 C MOBO: 30 C HDD: 34 C
Highest temp recorded via Speccy, CPU 52 C, GPU 43C, MOBO 46 C, HDD 50 C.
Case has 2 120mm fans. Going to add two more, one blowing on the GPU and another in the case top as exhaust. CPU has the OEM fan installed, going to upgrade that in the future.
The 500W Corsair PSU gets kind of noisy at times, you hear the blades whooshing the air, CPU is the same when running full out. Methinks the PSU is just big enough so it'll be replaced later this year also. Seriously considering a bigger heatsink and fan for the CPU too.
Trying to figure whether or not to CrossFire another 7770 or get a newer, bigger vid card. 7770 has 1 GB and runs at: Voltage 0.825 V GPU Clock 1000.0 MHz Temperature 33 °C Core Voltage 0.825 V Bios Core Clock 300.00 Bios Mem Clock 149.00 Driver version 18.104.22.168 BIOS Version 113-xxx-xxx Memory Type GDDR5 Memory 1024 MB Bandwidth 72.0 GB/s This card is an older version of the 7770. It has just one cooling fan, all the pics I have seen of this card show 2. shrug That's why I am considering upgrading already.
Anyway, the system is performing just fine atm.
