"No honey, it's just a small upgrade." :P

spense626 submitter 7 Builds 12 points 14 months ago

I think she will understand :)

jmanpittsburgh 9 points 14 months ago

Nice Build! Put some waterblocks on those gpus and get all the frames per second.

PacificNic 2 Builds 5 points 14 months ago

Not exactly how it works but I do agree :)

Wagzy 1 Build 2 points 13 months ago

Lower temps, then overclock :) But i thought that too, water cool them gpu's! :)

Ochi14 1 Build 5 points 14 months ago

mate your a ******* lunatic.......i love it

PacificNic 2 Builds 2 points 14 months ago

^ Hahahaha!

bytesize 4 points 14 months ago

How are the gpus holding up in minesweeper?

spense626 submitter 7 Builds 4 points 14 months ago

Definitely need to upgrade.. my cpu is being throttled. =)

PacificNic 2 Builds 3 points 14 months ago

I would add as a custom part the XSPC kit. That looks like the AX240 kit w/ BayRes/Pump combo. Excellent choice. When you get the chance, throw the 240mm rad in the front and get a 360mm (45mm thick is a nice size) in the top and hook up your GPUs to the loop. It would make that f!#king marvelous.

comptech0408 2 points 14 months ago

What do you use this for? A great way to spend 4.5k+ !

spense626 submitter 7 Builds 5 points 14 months ago

Minesweeper HD :)

comptech0408 2 points 14 months ago

Oh, I was thinking the old school pinball game! :)

One1_ManArmy 2 points 7 months ago

A little late, but did you do the cable sleeving yourself?

BarleyJuice 1 Build 1 point 5 months ago

Also curious.

Possumjones 1 point 14 months ago

wow! This looks great. I agree with Jman (shout out to pitt) put those gpu's under, a couple of d-5s, new res, and another big ol rad. I believe that would be almost as good as it gets. +10 way to make a 750d look small.

PacificNic 2 Builds 1 point 14 months ago

Uhhh... 2x D5s for redundancy? You only need one D5 running at like the 2 or 3 speed setting to push your water through that loop and still get excellent temperatures. Another pump would do next to nothing, even if the GPUs were under water. I would get a 360mm (45mm thick) rad in the top though.

spense626 submitter 7 Builds 1 point 14 months ago

That will be next, this was my first "custom" loop water cooling so I was a bit nervous. I am very glad I went this route as opposed to a H100i I used to use in my previous build.

PacificNic 2 Builds 1 point 13 months ago

Yeah, I really want to go custom loop on my next build but it's so damn expensive. Probably just gonna start with the Glacer and re-use the rad for my custom one when I have the money to upgrade, as you did. Can't wait to see what you end up with!

dschutt84 3 Builds 1 point 14 months ago

How does 3 gpus perform vs 2 gpus?

spense626 submitter 7 Builds 1 point 14 months ago

Performs great, although not as big as a step of from 1 - 2 but when I have my multiple monitors setup is when it will really shine.

dschutt84 3 Builds 1 point 14 months ago

Nice! Awesome build.

XcmByte 1 Build 1 point 14 months ago

Can I say probably extreme overkill for anything but the search of an awesome computer?

spense626 submitter 7 Builds 1 point 14 months ago

You are right :)

ARCHER_Prototype 1 point 14 months ago

spense626 submitter 7 Builds 1 point 14 months ago

Jesso2k 4 Builds 1 point 14 months ago

Wow, that's a lot of power packed into a beautiful mid tower. Have any benchmark scores you can share?

spense626 submitter 7 Builds 1 point 14 months ago

bytesize 1 point 14 months ago

Wut no it's 100 bucks cheaper

JohnTsams 1 Build 1 point 13 months ago

ViolentBoo 1 point 13 months ago

Looks at The Geforce logo in the picture Oh cool, I think he has a high end card! Looks at other two ...Da faq is wrong with you?

ib10xs4u2 1 point 13 months ago

Add $1200 for the 3 monitors. Yea, your wife is going to freak when she sees the final bill. Keep posting stuff here so we know that you're still alive. :)

desync408 1 Build 1 point 13 months ago

I'm surprised nobody has asked you what you do for a living!

spense626 submitter 7 Builds 2 points 13 months ago

I work in property management for a fortune 500 company.

spense626 submitter 7 Builds 1 point 13 months ago

Put up some unigine scores, more to come!

ArrKayCee 2 Builds 1 point 13 months ago

I can hear the 780's coughing...get them on water!

StrifeWolfe1994 1 Build 1 point 13 months ago

Beautiful rig, great part choice, and I hope your wife hasn't killed you. Now if we get the liars with their i3s and R9 260Xs off the top of the benchmarking leaderboard, this will be right at home.

Dustworks 1 point 11 months ago

why not 2 780 tis? why not have one of the 780s be a 6GB?

spense626 submitter 7 Builds 1 point 11 months ago

I've had 2 780 Ti's 3 780's is still faster :) I now have 2 290x's and the 6gb 780 was not out at the time of the build.

Dustworks 1 point 11 months ago

for the price of that monitor I'd have gotten an Asus VG278HE 27.0",but its not 2560 x1440 so I get what you were goin for ;)

hyperionedits 1 point 11 months ago
