THE CABLE MANAGEMENT WAS SUPER HARD, I DID WHAT I COULD WITH IT, THE CASE IS SMALL AND HAS LITTLE SPACE, AND THE PSU IS NOT MODULAR. ALSO, I HAVE NO ZIP TIES AVAILABLE, BUT I SPENT A REALLY LONG TIME TRYING TO FIX IT AND DID WHAT I COULD. I KNOW THE CABLE MANAGEMENT IS PROBABLY STILL PRETTY BAD, BUT IT WOULD BE NICE IF WE COULD FOCUS ON OTHER THINGS THIS TIME, 'CAUSE I TRIED MY BEST, BESIDES, I'LL PROBABLY REDO THIS THING WHEN I FEEL LIKE THE TIME COMES, I'LL GET A NEW MOBO, NEW PSU, NEW CPU, MAYBE ANOTHER 660 FOR SLI, AND ALL THAT. THANK YOU FOR SUGGESTING THAT I TRY TO MANAGE MY CABLES BETTER, THOUGH (I REALLY WISH I HAD ZIP-TIES AVAILABLE TO ME)!
AND, YES, SINCE YOU DID SUGGEST IMPROVING THE CABLES TO ME, THE LITTLE IMPROVEMENTS I TRIED DID IMPROVE TEMPS AND AIR FLOW!
BEFORE YOU START WONDERING, THE CASE I USED WAS AN OLD CASE THAT I GOT FROM A FRIEND! (I like old cases, they make the computer look like a hidden beast... ugly on the outside... outstanding on the inside)!!! That is why I called it a sleeper build, because it looks old and pretty bad on the outside, but is actually REALLY EPIC on the inside (imo, lol)!
I made this computer mainly for gaming... I will also use it for schoolwork when the time comes and other computer-related tasks.
Anyway, on the gaming side, it works AWESOME! I'm running in 1680x1050 (My monitor's native resolution) and most games run on highest settings with the desired smooth framerate of 40-70 FPS or even higher if it's an easier game to run. Some hardcore games (like Metro: Last Light) get rare drops to 20 or 30 FPS, but I don't really care about that, because they are not super-often, and I am not the kind of guy that goes like "BOOHOO I WUNT 60 FPS BOOOOHOOO." Now, If I did really care about dropping to 30 FPS, I would lower the settings from Max to High, simple... Anyway, here are my short reviews for each part:
CPU: Works great, was hot while in the Bios at first but it turned out to be pretty cool afterwards...
Motherboard: Good for the price, a bit hotter than the other parts, but works (that's all that matters). You get what you pay.
Memory: I should have bought faster RAM, but this was my only mistake IMO, and... since it's my first time building, I am impressed with myself that I have only made one little mistake with the parts. Still good, and very cheap. You get what you pay.
Storage: Very nice... 1 Terra-byte, still have like 800 GB after downloading my OS and 80% of my steam games...woot! I can install games & programs without worry for a LONG time.
Video Card: ...UH UH UH..!! DO NOT tell me that I should've bought an AMD Radeon 7850 or 7870. Yes, this one may be a bit worse than those when you compare gaming performance in most games, but C'mon now, it was cheaper than both and came with the one and only EPIC game Metro: Last Light FOR FREE! Also came with advanced edition of 3DMARK11 (Msi bundle ONLY!) The card is very cool compared to the AMD ones (Granted, it was an MSI w/ Twin Frozr III).
So, In my opinion, Nvidia benefits are: Geforce experience, longer life, cooler, PHYSX!
AMD benefits are: Better gaming performance, possibly more responsive. So, Each have their own benefits.
Power Supply: It works, what can I say? It works very well! If I would've had more money I would've gotten a better power supply for more security, but this one works perfectly IMo.
Optical drive: Good Optical drive, of course...
