So I went to various forums and sites finding that a lot of people in my price range used this CPU: It's very nice and fast. The problem here is that it was overkill for me. Now that I'm researching more about computer building, I realized that I didn't need this powerful of a CPU for gaming. I should have just went with an i5 3570k.
CPU Cooler Also researched that I needed an aftermarket cooler if I wanted to overclock. So being the immature kid I am, I tried finding the best cooler I can find. I did not worry about the price at all. This cooler is amazing, don't get me wrong. I just don't know how to overclock and I should have realized that before I bought this cooler.
Motherboard Another item I carelessly bought without evaluating what I truly needed from my computer. It's awesome though, it had this OC Genie button where I used the Intel boost. That's why my CPU clock rate is 3.9 GHz instead of 3.5.
Memory I've always thought that the more RAM you had, the faster your system was. Well, I just found out that, unless I did video editing and photo rendering, 16 GB is not going to do much for gaming.
Storage I think the reason why my OS is able to start fast is because of the SDD right? However, I don't put any of my games in there since I thought that there's not enough space. SDD is a luxury, another thing I should have thought about.
Video Card This video card is amazing! I was able to play on most Ultra settings without the framerate drops. I think I'll say that I can keep this card for sure.
Case This case was extreme overkill for me. I thought that if I didn't get a full tower my video card wouldn't fit. That wasn't the case at all. There's enough room to fit a 4-Way SLI at least, I think.
PSU Another overkill, I don't think I needed more than 500W right? My money T.T
Optical Drive Not sure what to say about it, I guess I didn't need the blu-ray reader capability?
OS Windows 8 is okay, but I like Windows 7 better...
