This is my first build of this kind, got tired of my old i5-2400 / GTX 660 and decided to build a real gaming PC. Hope you guys like it!
i5-6600K: OC to 4.6 GHz. I can keep pushing but I think that is enough for now and will only be used when needed, will keep at 4.5Ghz for daily use (i just like 5 better somehow lol).
Kingston HyperX 8GB DDR4 @2400Mhz: testing out if 2400 is enough for me or not, will get the full 4 modules later on in red/black.
GPU: I was finally able to get my hands on a GTX1070 and I'm loving this card so far. temps are awesome and it is pretty quiet. haven't tried OCing it yet, but I'm pretty happy with the noise/performance ratio that comes out of the box with OC mode.
Monitor: I was looking to get an IPS screen that looked good with the rest of my build... went a little overboard and after some wife convincing I was able to get this monster monitor. best screen out there if you don't like ultrawide screens. very pricey but I'm in love with it.
works well and was able to OC it to 4.5 Ghz without much trouble. don't feel like pushing it more for a 24/7 OC.
Impressed with the temperatures of this small AIO cooler. definitely enough for most builds. currently idle temps are 23-25 oC. will report back after playing with the CPU OC.
loving this motherboard, definitely the best I could find on this price range. nice subtle LED lights that separate the audio from the rest of the mobo. planning to get monitor speakers in the feature so the dedicated USB for DACS are nice!
the OC features look very good and even brings 2 LAN ports. Intel and Killer NIC.
best looking card this gen IMO. it is quite huge but keeps everything cool and performs great out of the box!
I love the case, compared to the previous cases this is heaven, I'm guessing for people looking for huge builds this might be too small. I was looking for a compact build without CD-rom and this has been perfect so far. the back door is a breeze to put back on even with messy cables.
the fan layout possbilities are very good and the only thing I would change is the mechanism to take out the front panel to clean the dust filter.
bought this fan to test out a push/pull config on my 120mm radiator and it not only looks great but performs better than the stock Corsair fan that comes with the cooler. it comes with all the accessories you need.
the most expensive piece of hardware I bought.. ever! coming from 1080p @60Hz TN panel, this is a dream come true. cool looking bezel, beautiful panel and all the specs you want and more!
I was able to test it on the store and they opened the screen and show you it doesn't have any deffects. so far no problems and looks perfect.
awesome keyboard, previous build was blue and now is red, having a keyboard to match any color I want is very nice indeed. my profile was kept safe in razer synapse cloud.
having colors changed while playing Overwatch was quite the surprise! I love those little details that just make your experience so much better.
had slow cursor everytime I booted the PC. it has apparently gone away since the last update.
battery got swollen and was not included in the 2 years warranty, had to purchase a new one.
Surprised by the audio quality of this budget headset, I have used it every single day since I purchased it and no problems at all.
