Description

This is a custom build for my older brother.

He does not play video games or does any Overclocking. I personally have no clue what he plans on doing with the PC nor will i ever find out... Parts were requested by him.

I've managed to fit a 4th Gen 4770 i7 with 8GB of ram, SSD , 1TB HD , decent video card , bad ass case and X2 fricken 1080p screens for around $1000....

If your wondering why the GTX 760 is 159.99 is because there was a promo sale, Spend $250 Get $25 off.... So I split the orders into 4 different ones... So I really saved an extra $100 off my entire order. Making this WELL under $1000...

Boots under 5 Sec w/Fast boot!

Do you work at a pc shop where you build all of these or do you just build them for yourself? cause you have 7 builds on here.

domzlol [Submitter] [9 Builds] 1 point 7 months ago

I own a pc shop. I wish I had the time to post all the builds on here but most pcs I build are plain and not as exciting as some builds ive posted on here

very cool, i would like to get into the business one day but i gotto save some money first.

Personally its hard to make good money off builds :/. Best to make your money from repairs if your going to start a business.

JoeyThePCNoob [2 Builds] 2 points 7 months ago

thanks for the advice, ill be sure to set it all up right if thats the business i want to go into.

Best budget build on this site. What would have made this even better of a budget would have been a Xeon E3-1230 V3 instead of the i7-4770. Still solid build all around!

domzlol [Submitter] [9 Builds] 1 point 7 months ago

ha thanks! :)

uin12nerfer 1 point 3 months ago

why would the xeon be better?

dschutt84 [3 Builds] 2 points 3 months ago

It's cheaper and performs the same as a 4770.

uin12nerfer 1 point 3 months ago

well fantastic! now i guess i wont go for the 4770

dschutt84 [3 Builds] 2 points 3 months ago

Just make sure the motherboard you are using supports Xeons. Also just so you know you cant overclock Xeons and they don't have iGPU on them. So make sure you get a dedicated video card with them. Don't go for anything less then at 1230 V3 as they have hyper-threading. Some of the cheaper Xeons don't have hyper-threading.

will do, thank you

You could sell this build on Ebay for 1700+... Does your brother know how good of a deal he got?

dschutt84 [3 Builds] 1 point 7 months ago

I know seriously! I like when you get the guy on Craigslist that can build you a PC for $1200 and give you list of parts. They are always making a $300-400 profit with crap parts. This is the best build for the price I have ever seen!

ReDnAx1991 [5 Builds] 1 point 7 months ago

This build could also go into extreme couponing, awesome price for that GTX760. Very nice build! Hope your brother enjoys it, love seeing brothers take care after eachother +1!

domzlol [Submitter] [9 Builds] 2 points 7 months ago

Thx! yea spent some good time looking for the deals. I also got a couple mail in rebates

How did you get the 760 for $160?!?!

bizzbuzz 1 point 5 months ago

Love this build! Just wondering if the mother board would support the ram. Mother board only supports DDR3-1066/1333/1600 and you are using 1866 does that affect anything?

domzlol [Submitter] [9 Builds] 1 point 5 months ago

the ram will support up to the speed the motherboard supports.

Thanks!
