First build and it went great. LOVE it. Looking to get another 7950 and another 2tb drive.
Well since I got the i7 3770k for less than a hundred bucks there was no reason to get an i5. XFX has lifetime warranty on their graphics cards, the 7950 was better price per performance than paying the extra 100 for the 7970ghz edition. They way the card is overclocked it performs just like the 7970. It stays extremely cool under load. AMD's newest beta driver fixes most if not all of the micro-stuttering with x-firing cards. I went with 16gb of ram cause it was a great black friday deal for like 40 bucks. The PSU was only 25 brand new. The A-data drive was extremely fast and has a 4 year warranty i believe. The case because its massive and has 8 fans. Also the case is opposite of how normal cases are. It puts the GPU up top so it blows directly out of the top of the case.
I work at best buy and got a great price for most of the parts, intel has an employee program that gives GREAT prices on the processors. Thats how i got the i7 3770k for less than a hundred.
