Description

This was my first build, around 2 years old now and a few things have been added and changed since the original build. Blu-Ray Drive is actually an LG one, not Pioneer. All prices are estimates as this is an old build now. The i7-2600k is a brilliant processor and overclocks well, i have mine running at 4.4Ghz

Nice build. But I gotta say, that red and orange of the PSU and GPU clashing with the blue is making my OCD stab itself repeatedly with a fork

Haha, luckily it doesn't look too bad in real life, the red is kind of bleached out by the lights

Could you specify what parts are new?

Orvarius [Submitter] [2 Builds] 1 point 10 months ago

The newest parts would be the Phantom, XFX 7970 and the PSU

Don't let anyone tell you that this system is 'outdated'. It's nowhere near, and a gaming beast, judging by the specs.

Nice build, good cable management and balanced part selection.

+1

Have the same cooler, but I'm rocking Ivy Bridge. I like the build so +1

PSU is sucking on the carpet.

I do have it sat on a plank of wood so it shouldn't be too bad

Oh, that's fine then lol. I didn't know, sorry.
