Built for CAD, school, and gaming. First time to build a PC and being on a students budget I had to make the best of sales, instant rebates, and price matching. Solidworks and Pro-E works fantastically quick on this build and can preform simulation test very well. For what the budget was it is great for gaming. Running Arma 3 on ultra at 30+ fps. Very well cooled and plan on upgrading the GPU to the 700 series sometime during the summer.
CPU - Got lucky and was able to snag one from a Fry's black Friday. Though I would love to have the 3770k or go with Haswell I think this will do just fine for the price.
