My friend have almos the same build with i5 3540 i think and 7950 and he run on ultra 120 fps

Yes a 7950 can get quite high FPS in BF3 - Especially if you get one that can overclock nicely.

Can you add some more pics? I would like to see the rest of the pc.

I love this build =p, really well balanced and should be great with a 7950, you could save money by going with a 660 or 7870, as they both play Bf3 on ultra above 60 fps. Just my thoughts, good job!

not so sure a 660(non ti) and or a 7870(non ghz or xt) pushing ultra and above 60FPS: http://us.hardware.info/reviews/4206/29/23-amd-radeon-hd-7870--7950-and-nvidia-geforce-gtx-660--660-ti-graphics-card-round-up-benchmarks-battlefield-3

sure does show the 7950 doing above 60fps barely ;)

Even when AMD started giving great drivers those cards never pushed ULTRA above 60FPS: http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/AMD/Catalyst_12.11_Performance/5.html

I agree. The 7950 is a solid card and is still very affordable. Plus an AMD card would fit better in this build with that motherboard.

i have a 7870 xt im running bf3 on ultra at around 90 fps

IamApropos 3 Builds 1 point 26 months ago

That s amazing because most other higher priced cards can not. I'm wondering why every professional review site is not able to test BF3 at ultra settings around 90fps on 1920x1080p with a 7870 xt yet you can? or are you turning something off or not playing at 1080p?

Jimmy 1 point 26 months ago

I think he may have listed his max FPS instead of his average because a 7870 Ghz(the Gigabyte OC one at least) pushes 57 FPS average on ultra in 1080p.

IamApropos 3 Builds 1 point 26 months ago

indeed. There is always the off chance possibility that someone got one of those great batches of GPU that just surpasses all performance. ;)

playing at 1080p only thing i turn off is v-sync

What i dont anderstand is why to sell Nvidia Titan for 1000 dolars . what i saw before peapls can get hieghr perfomans with chiper video cards. so what is the point ?

frostythetoejam 1 point 26 months ago

The Titan was not necessarily designed with gaming in mind. It is a killer card for editing rigs and pretty good with multi-monitor set ups. I do find it hard to believe that it will get lower FPS than a 7950 or a card in that range. Possibly if you were cross-firing the 7950, still not entirely sure on the stats.

mike22122 1 point 17 months ago

unless you were crossfiring 3 7950s i cant see it happening, besides its all moot now as if you have the money its r290x or 780 ti both kill titans
