Built for use with Adobe Premiere CS6 and other CPU intensive programs. Thinking of overclocking the CPU because it hits 38C at 3.9ghz when stress tested with Prime95. At first I bought an Hyper 212 Evo but it didn't have the Socket 2011 brackets. I also learned the Hyper 212 wasn't a good cooler for such a big processor. Bought the Noctua NH-D14.... huge difference. Enjoy! I got the processor and motherboard as a bundle for 50 dollars off

+1 for dat 4930k. LGA 2011 processors have the integrated heat spreader soldered to the actual cpu die so liquid cooling is very effective without having to delid the processor and risk damaging it. What's the story behind the price of 0 on your motherboard?

Oh I forgot. The motherboard and processor I got for a $50 of bundle at Microcenter, so I just put the final price on the processor.

Saw the GPU and was like "Dang... how stupid can people be" until I read the description. That is why you ALWAYS put in a detailed explanation. +1 from me.

Haha yeah. I really don't want to be gaming too much. If I see the need to do CUDA processor I might get a better card. I bought it mainly because I might use two screen very soon and since the motherboard did not have a display port. :)

LGA 2011 expects you to get a kickass video card so the processor doesn't make fun of the system.

Nice to see a non gaming build. But you might want to upgrade that monitor or get a second one ASAP.

Jesus, why'd you pay so much for that CPU? :O Great build either way

I believe he included the price of the motherboard and CPU, since it was a combo deal.

TNTrocks123 [1 Build] 1 point 12 months ago

Why did u get a network adapter when u already have one on the motherboard?

vinurakk [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 12 months ago

To be honest I thought most of the internet processes would be taken off the CPU when uploading videos to YouTube and rendering a video at the same time. What do you think is it needed?

TNTrocks123 [1 Build] 1 point 12 months ago

Well... Youtube videos just requires a good internet connection so im not sure

Noticed Part list says there may be a required bios update run into any problems installing windows or when building? V. nice btw

How were you able to get a fan up onto the top part of the case? I have the same case and wasn't able to reach that area.

vinurakk [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 6 months ago

That was extremely difficult haha. I don't own the case right now but as I remember I put the top fan and I couldnt access it with the cooler.
