NOTE: The pictures posted are nearly a year old... I have yet taken updated Pictures with better cable management and new GPU. I will take some new pics... soon...
Only took me 30 min to find out how to post my completed build -.- I'm an idiot that needs big sparkly buttons for these things XD
It was really fun to build this. Going into the build I knew NOTHING about computer internals. I had replaced the hard drive on a laptop and that was it. I started researching and saving money around January of this year and now I think I know quite a lot about computer internals. I was a little impatient and ended up buying parts weeks before I even built the thing so that's why I don't have an i5-4670k.
Its really odd to be able to set every game I play to max and not have to worry about frame rate dropping lower than 60 fps. Hell my old laptop could barley get games over 25 fps. I was worried about my laptop catching on fire then (GPU would reach 80-90 ° C sometimes)!
I LOVE the fans. If you cant tell I went with a green theme so I painted the white rings that came with the corsair fans. They are SUPER quite. When I first turned on my system I thought they were broken :/ The loudest fans are my AF140s in the front (and the GPU). All the other fans are nice and silent :)
Tell me what you think! Good or bad, I am always open to feedback (respectful feedback that is).
EDIT: Thank You to the amazing SaabTheFox I am in queue for a EVGA GTX 770 using the Step-Up Program! Itll be a couple weeks before I get it but I'm fine with that! I may have to buy an 8pin green VGA cable cause I have 2 6-pin :(
EDIT AGAIN: I got my GTX 770. I replaced my GTX 670 FTW and the 770 is x10 better! On bf3 max settings my gtx 670 would sound like a vacuum cleaner. I cant even tell the difference between the silent case fans and my graphics card when playing BF3 max. The only game that has made this card get loud is Star citizen on max settings (which is expected XD).
EDIT AGAIN AGAIN: So I got an SSD and a 1tb HDD (the other two died :O I got them for free so its fine). The SSD is FAST and I love it. Also looking at the price of my system makes me sad... Originally I was shooting for $1200. I took off the monitor, mouse, and keyboard to make me feel better about the price of my system since those are more peripherals and were bought after XD The whole system ended costing just over $1500 which makes me sad cause I think I could have done better for $1500.
YET ANOTHER EDIT: I had a friend buy my GTX 770 off of me so I git a GTX 780. I hope to go 1440p or maybe triple monitors @ 1080p eventually.
