Was this built last year?

A 570? With 1 1/4 gigs of memory. Lol I have never seen that before, +1 on originality :D

Stigs 2 points 15 months ago

most 570's have 1.25 gigs of vram. Most of the 580's had 1.5 though.

Lol, I really didn't know that, thanks!

Yeah...haha I run SLI but this wouldn't allow me to add 2 out of stock items to my build.

BC1096 1 point 15 months ago

Aww, how do they perform?

alternativesurfer [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 15 months ago

Great, still run most things at excellent quality and decent FPS. Have them overclocked 18% over stock. I'll upgrade whenever the 7xx series comes out.

Nice build, but it doesn't seem like it was built recently.

I built this in 2011.

A bit too powerful of PSU?

alternativesurfer [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 15 months ago

GPU is SLI

I pull 800 at the wall under full load. A kilowatt sounds just fine to me.

Smily 1 point 15 months ago

Well... you should've listed them as being in SLI >_>

alternativesurfer [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 15 months ago

It would not let me configure this build as SLI (for some reason...)

Smily 1 point 15 months ago

Weird. You might want to report that to philip

Your temps are insane for 4.7 on air. Is that cooler really that good?

alternativesurfer [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 15 months ago

The cooler is that good, and I seem to have an excellent CPU. I run 4.7 at only 1.3V Typical voltage for that would be around 1.4V

Jimmy 1 point 15 months ago

Nice! I might consider that cooler for a future build. I have heard it was the best air cooler from a chart I was linked a few days ago, it showed it right behind the H100 (non i) by about 2 degrees.

Is that Gpu a triple slot card?

alternativesurfer [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 15 months ago

Yes, and there are 2 of them. They take up sooooo much room.

Never again...

Ggadget 1 point 15 months ago

Never getting an Asus card then.

alternativesurfer [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 15 months ago

The new DCII's are only dual slots. This was the only one that was triple.

Ggadget 1 point 15 months ago

Oh okay.

Kofi96 1 point 15 months ago

was that pic taken outside?

alternativesurfer [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 15 months ago

Yes, in front of my home.
