My Second Budget Build

Description

So this machine was originally a budget build just to test how the APU would work. I bought all the parts a few months back for a total of $295, so I did save quite a bit. I tested a few games, and they seemed to work better than my other build, which was a lot more expensive. Overall, really like it. I ended up giving it to my father, and he has not had a word of complaint about it. Would recommend!

Again, was only 295.

only complaint i have is the ram, should have gone with 1866, but other than that, looks like a nice good apu build for the price you got it for :D

agreed. But I doubt his father wants this for gaming.

For $295 this is amazing! I wish my parents needed a desktop or I needed a second desktop cuz I'd love to build something like this.

If you are going to be testing the APUs, I would have gone with the FM2 at least.

At first I scoffed at this build but considering the price you say you paid, it's nice. You can add custom pries to the components so it doesn't seem like you paid so much.

This is a very good build, especially for 295. The only thing I would change is the PSU. For only 30 watts less, you can get a CX430 and save around 10 bucks. Just a minor change though, very good build in general. +1
