Extreme Budget Build

Description

This build will be used for gaming. It handles Skyrim on ultra with 25 graphical mods at ultra, and it never drops below 35 fps.I will upgrade around Christmas time. I plan to upgrade to a gtx 660 and i5-4770k. The was absolutely horrific to work with. It had no cable management options, the grille wouldnt fit on right. The mounting holes were weird. DONT GET THIS CASE. The temps were great.

With that budget i would go with a a10 5800k. Its 110 bucks and you can upgrade to the new amd apus they are gonna release in a bit. If amd focuses on the apu's they are gonna be awesome

I think next I might upgrade to an FX-8350

ramseymona22 2 points 15 months ago

Yeah for now this probably was the better option. But now that they are saying they are dropping the fx series it might help to go apu more upgradbility if thats a word

Did you hear about the new FX processors. 9590 and 9370

ramseymona22 2 points 15 months ago

yeah they suck, they are overclocked 8350's thats it.

ravagex 2 points 15 months ago

A 8320 is cheaper and can be oc to a 8350

Very budget build and to squeeze a 90 dollar OS into it makes it even more budget wise . Does the fx-4100 have any limitations you've noticed ? +1

Lol I think "not very reliable" is an understatement.. It's like having a bomb in your computer man.

Love the cable management...

daes79 [Submitter] [3 Builds] 2 points 14 months ago

This case doesn't have cable management options. Know your facts before you say something.

ryman [3 Builds] 1 point 14 months ago

You could at lest make a attempt at cable management come on a box of zip ties is $2.99 at microcenter

how is that powersupply working for yeh?

daes79 [Submitter] [3 Builds] 1 point 6 months ago

I actually switched power supplies because that power supply blew up on me. Luckily it didn't take any parts with it

ilexious 0 points 12 months ago

The reason this is so cheap is cuase you have no storage case isnt added decent priced gfx card and no extra fans.

Before you criticize learn to spell.

giliara -3 points 15 months ago

Replace that power supply ASAP and cable management could be better. Also Why no t just getter a better FX processor to keep the same motherboard instead of getting an i5.

daes79 [Submitter] [3 Builds] 1 point 15 months ago

I know thats why I rated it a 1. It's very unreliable.

Matthijs_2000 [1 Build] 1 point 15 months ago

I really don't get why you get so many upvotes, you are plain rude. You could also say:

I would recommend you replacing the PSU, because it is known to not be very reliable and it could ruin your parts. It could be an idea to get a better FX processor in stead of buying an Intel processor, because this can save you some money (you do not have to buy a new motherboard when you do so).

I've seen far ruder comments on here. Take the constructive criticism.

Matthijs_2000 [1 Build] 1 point 15 months ago

It is not my build, people should be giving better constructive criticism, the OP could get offended or sad. People who post their builds are proud of it and should get some decent criticism.

giliara 3 points 15 months ago

I don't see what is so rude about my comment it was just a bit brunt.

daes79 [Submitter] [3 Builds] 3 points 15 months ago

I myself didnt find it rude.
