Decent build. What is your sister using this for? (just asking so I can maybe say what could have been changed and so on)

Gaming and school work. she was on a budget so i did this. She plays Gw2 and others but right now her internet is **** so she has to wait download bigger titles

Hey, ok I tried to fit some better parts into the price and I pretty much failed :P You put up a nice build for the price. :) I was able to come up with this tho: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/29pGw

If she gave more money to spend i most def would have upped the GPU lol

Start by saying nice build for price. And I must ask is the ASRock moba any good I was thinking about getting a better one then that or go MSI?

nerdymosh [Submitter] [2 Builds] 1 point 8 months ago

This whole build was nice OS was really easy to install and the mobo worked reall well. Only thing i would have to say if you use a big card like the one i used it's a pain to get the ram in. so do the ram first

Btw if you feel like makeing her a more "Demanding" computer you should watch this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lh_dGts6TeQ A 750$ build And I have most of the parts and there great, the only thing I add is ssd, case, moba to MSI and a geoforce GTX 650-650TI and always get samsung or my favorite 8gb corsair vengance ( some of my parts max over 800$)

I talked to her about that, but she wanted something simple so we went with that. I'm building a new computer soon switching to Intel from AMD and im going to be using a SSD for Boot

nerdymosh [Submitter] [2 Builds] 2 points 8 months ago

Oh yeah. It was nothing i get really excited when people want me to build them computers

Eschaton [1 Build] 1 point 8 months ago

Haha, as do I!

jaredt [1 Build] 1 point 8 months ago

I would have gone AMD FX 6350 at that price range but whatever. Good otherwise +1

nerdymosh [Submitter] [2 Builds] 1 point 8 months ago

They give almost the same performance. and for 10 dollars more i'll easily chose a more reliable brand

jaredt [1 Build] 0 points 8 months ago

No the AMD is twice as fast. A 6 core vs. a 2 core. Its a no brainer even if the AMD is a little slower on each core. You still have triple the amount of them.

Hyperthreading turns the CPU into aQuad Core. which might i add windows picks up instally so at that point it's a draw lol
