Budget HTPC Build

Description

Built this little machine in June of this year. Mainly used as an XBMC media center with emulator use as well. Everything went well except the Blu-Ray drive i purchased was too long to use with the modular power supply, so i just threw it in my main build. The case is really sleek looking, but damn is it hard to work in. Storage is a 1TB Green Drive (which i think is near it's death after about 4 years of use) and a 1TB Black Drive i got from my job for a good deal. Runs very cool and nearly dead silent after the initial spin-up. The keyboard is absolutely awesome for sitting on the other side of the living room and controlling the computer.

I have that same keyboard. It seriously is the best keyboard for a HTPC build. Only complaint I have of it is that its really flimsy. But for only $30 you cant go wrong. Also I great keyboard for windows 8.

Me too. It is awesome. I would highly recommend for people who use their tv as their monitor.

I wouldn't go for that motherboard. Maybe an MSI one instead.
