The BF4 Build

Description

So this was my first pc build in probably 10 years and it wasnt without its hiccups. The first thing id like to let everyone know if you're thinking about getting this case. It's a good case in my opinion, well built and looks cool...however I was unable to fit a 120 mm fan in the front because my hard drive wouldn't slide back all the way. If you used a slim fan it would probably be fine which I might do in the future. But the biggest issue was fitting the 7950. It does not fit in the case!! It was about 1 inch too long, it runs into the storage shelves in the front of the case. I ended up doing something im not proud of because I just wanted to get the build up and running, I had to bend one the brackets out of the way. It looks like crap but i dont care, you cant see it with the side cover on so oh well. Also my 12v power connector for the cpu was an 8 pin coming from my ps and the connector on the mobo was a 4 pin. But everything worked out and to my surprise it booted up first time. In my opinion it is blazing fast, I can have play and record BF4 with fraps while listening to pandora and seemlessly alt tab and open numerous internet tabs and screw around. The temps stay pretty low, even under full load my gpu only gets to about 58 at the most, not sure about the cpu i havent found a program for that yet, anyone know of a good one?? Ill take some pics of the finished product I was to excited to get it up and running at the time.

Thank you very much! I spent probably 3 months researching and deciding what parts to go with. Also waiting for sales. Couldnt be more happy how it turned out.

Nice looking rig. The AI suite that comes with that motherboard is pretty good software that gives the temp for the CPU.
