Description

I will update this tomorrow, its 11:00 PM here. I will give a short list on why I bought these parts. I was tight on the budget, I didnt want my Dad to spend too much money on this gaming machine, but at the same time making the chosen parts "good for the money". Alright before you think the monitors quality is ****, its not it was my camera and the lighting angle the monitor looks clear and pretty :D

[CPU]: It was cheap and good for the money and I kind of regret getting this one. I wanted a fx-6300 for the extra performance. I will be overclocking this bad boy when I get a better CPU cooler.

[Motherboard]: It was cheap and its okay everything that I need is there.

[RAM]: Cheap, but there was a DDR-1600 for $2 more than the one I chose, it was also the same brand, this one works just fine.

[HDD]: Best value so I got and Im using it with SATA 6GB/s. Windows boots fast, I should have benchmarked it before I put all my stuff in there, but I dont think that does anything right?. I will give the boot time tomorrow.

[GPU]: Its nice and it is already overclocked so no need for that I tried overclocking even more but it gets unstable amd the drivers stop working lol. It also came with Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. It was a nice deal.

[Adapter]: It works and Im blaming my cheap ass router for my response time lol, the routers range sucks.

[Case]: I wanted to get the NXZT Tempset 210 for a little more cash, but I couldnt wait any longer lol.

[Power Supply]: A bit overkill, but because of the price I got it and Im going to upgrade this system using the same power supply.

[Monitor]: Its okay

[Keyboard]: Its good for right now

[Mouse]: It was awesome when I first bought it. The scroll wheel broke and the sometimes clicks one more time when its a post to be one not two-clicks. It might have been the seller from amazon. I like the mouse, but Im going to get a better one than this one.

Im going to be using this for gaming, video editing, and programming(Im learning the basics of C++ :P)

Thanks for reading :d Im off to bed, I will also post more recent pictures, this one is just a picture I took when I finished building it lol.

This is a great budget build, although like you said, you really should have gotten the fx 6300. The piledriver chips are better than the phenoms now in games and other applications, so there is no reason to stick with the older phenoms anymore. When bulldozer came out and it was crappier than the phenoms, it made sense. Now, not so much.
