You forgot the awesome bedroom as well. The 'I just got out of bed' look ties the whole series of pictures together.

carter9996 submitter 3 Builds 1 point 23 months ago

my bedroom is pretty messy :(

PickItApart 0 points 23 months ago

thinking the same. Wish there were some pics with the 3 monitors in use.

carter9996 submitter 3 Builds 1 point 23 months ago

i'll post some

carter9996 submitter 3 Builds 1 point 23 months ago

the new pics are at the end

PickItApart 1 point 23 months ago

any comments on how it feels...I've never gamed on 3 monitors..how's the experience?

carter9996 submitter 3 Builds 1 point 23 months ago

for me i get dizzy on some games like bf3 cod but with arma skyrim or slower paced games its amazing

apackin 1 Build 1 point 23 months ago

Were the cables not long enough to go behind the mobo?

carter9996 submitter 3 Builds 2 points 23 months ago

the tj 10 has really bad cable management but its a case with almost unmatched build quality

bgiunt4 1 point 23 months ago

i would have gone with monitors with a thinner bezel but still an awesome build

carter9996 submitter 3 Builds 2 points 23 months ago

the 3 monitors are mostly used for productivity work because eyefinity makes me sick to my stomach

ImElkay 1 Build 1 point 23 months ago

i would either overclock those monitors or get a 120/144hz one

carter9996 submitter 3 Builds 1 point 23 months ago

the monitors run at 75Hz w/o overclock but i plan on getting a 1440p monitor for gaming because i dont really like eyefinity

ImElkay 1 Build 1 point 23 months ago

yea seems like a good idea

carter9996 submitter 3 Builds 1 point 23 months ago

also with a 1440p moniter you can turn down anti aliasing because of the higher pixel density

ImElkay 1 Build 1 point 23 months ago

can you? that sounds awesome. About how much do you think i could get a 24 inch 1440p monitor for?

carter9996 submitter 3 Builds 1 point 23 months ago

i have seen the as low as 400 buy from korea or china same panel just a rebrand, i mean paul from newegg has one..........

DjArtifact 1 point 23 months ago

You can't get 24 inch 1440p monitors, you can always go on ebay and get a 27 inch 1440p for around $400 though.

ImElkay 1 Build 1 point 23 months ago

and no aftermarket cpu cooler?

carter9996 submitter 3 Builds 2 points 23 months ago

im going to do a custom loop this summer just need to save up some money, i will be doing triple rad with cpu and dual gpu cooling

ImElkay 1 Build 1 point 23 months ago

o i see

Apach3 2 Builds 1 point 23 months ago

you did an awesome job with cable management despite the case itself not really looking like it can handle it.

carter9996 submitter 3 Builds 2 points 23 months ago

thanks, it will get better after the cables are individually sleeved

OneBigViper 1 Build 1 point 23 months ago

If your wanting to get another 7970, you might need to get a more powerful power supply? just a suggestion.

DjArtifact 1 point 23 months ago

750w can handle 2 7970s just fine.

carter9996 submitter 3 Builds 1 point 23 months ago

and my power supply is gold rated but i should use about 660-680 watts, so i may or may not get another power supply

ravagex 1 point 23 months ago

Extremely carried away with the pics. Did you take them in a victorian musuem? LoL

Really2n2 1 point 22 months ago

Is there anyway to true off the sapphire LED?

carter9996 submitter 3 Builds 1 point 22 months ago

no there is not

the13yearoldgenius 1 point 17 months ago

hey, thats my name :D lol

otisriedel 1 Build 1 point 12 months ago

why would you spend $311 on a case like that?

BiGUNMAN 1 Build 0 points 23 months ago

I don't understand what you liked in the case for 300$...

carter9996 submitter 3 Builds 2 points 23 months ago

the main thing that i love about this case is the build quality its not rolled steel like all the other cases but milled/machined aluminum, and i got the case on craigslist for $100

BiGUNMAN 1 Build 1 point 23 months ago

Then I see a point :P

carter9996 submitter 3 Builds 1 point 23 months ago

this pc during its early days had a rosewill case r5 its in other builds on my account but anyways i couldn't stand looking at it so i bought this case and i'm very happy with it

BiGUNMAN 1 Build 1 point 23 months ago

I can see why... that piece of steel looks fugly

PickItApart -1 points 23 months ago

a quick Google search led me to see this case is 6 years old. And still $100?

carter9996 submitter 3 Builds 2 points 23 months ago

to me this case is priceless in my opinion one of the best looking cases out there and again i love the build quality

DjArtifact 1 point 23 months ago

Silverstone cases are hard to explain but the build quality is just so good.

carter9996 submitter 3 Builds 1 point 23 months ago

i definitely agree

PickItApart 0 points 23 months ago

Are those prices correct?

carter9996 submitter 3 Builds 1 point 23 months ago

if you where to buy them now retail then yes but i never pay retail got the 7970Ghz for 320 got the ram for free and monitors for 120 each and the mouse for 47 at bestbuy

kenh536 2 Builds 1 point 23 months ago

You can update your prices with the real price you payed. Helps give perspective on part choices and such.

carter9996 submitter 3 Builds 1 point 23 months ago

yeah i know i just like having retail value so it easier for other people to see what they can get the part for because there might be a lower price than what i paid for

Sabotage 0 points 23 months ago

I have same headset and asus monitors! I love your build. I am planning on doing a similar one. That is a good psu and case. The ssd would be called a msata ssd. I have an intel 330s and it preforms very well. It is an mstata drive.

carter9996 submitter 3 Builds 4 points 23 months ago

oh no i want to get a ocz veloci drive like 280Gb (its pci-e) not m sata

xSWATxBadkid 1 Build 0 points 23 months ago

Very nice eyefinity set up! I would get that Intel cooler out of there and OC that sucker tough!!! :P
