Description

My current gaming rig that I built in 2011. I have upgraded a bit since I got it but still works great. Apparntly I was supposed to specify what I upgraded, I got my speakers a year after building this, an SSD about a year ago, and Razer head set 3 months ago. Sorry for the confusion, I didn't even realize people would reply/

Hey for a two year old rig, I like what you have there. You might recieve feedback for not explaining initially what you may have started out with, upgraded and possibly your future plans. Idk. Looks good nonetheless. Btw I always enjoy people who stick with their projects over time instead of wasting cash by doing a full replacement and trashing everything after a year. I've had one of my pc's since my last deployment in 2008. +1 and I don't care who disagrees here

What branch of the military are you in?

dehvious submitter 1 Build 1 point 14 months ago

Um everything I put on here is what I started out with. The only thing I upgraded was the SDD. Also this was my first time using this site so I didn't even know that people would look at it or reply. Sorry =/

Lovely case! How is she working after 2 years? Thanks!

The frontside usb is not working anymore.

Oooooooh Pink on the Case! +1 :)

What parts did you upgrade?

dehvious submitter 1 Build 1 point 14 months ago

I haven't really upgraded anything. I got the SSD about a year ago. But I am going to replace the whole pc at the end of this year.

2011? Nice. Love to see the actual price paid if you still have the info.

What's with the mixed RAM, unrated PSU and 120 dollar disk drive? And if this is for gaming, why include such a garbage mouse and keyboard? But at least the case is cute ;)))))

Thanks to everyone who commented.

You could of asked around if you wanted to upgrade. This does not look like an upgrade. That psu is not going to take a beating, and if i were you, i'd change it IMMEDIATELY!

550ti? Really? That cards 2 whole gens old..

and do you even know the difference between windows 7 home edition and ultimate?... Thumbs down man, sorry.

Man? Since the OP didn't quite specify what was upgraded we shouldn't jump to conclusions.

shawnshibu123 1 point 18 months ago

He includes pictures of unboxed components, so I assumed that he upgraded to those specific items, Sorry if i'm wrong!

if you look in the bottom right corner of some of the photos there are dates from 2011.

skemble 21 Builds 1 point 18 months ago

Due to the choice of case, I'm assuming that this is a girl lol

Starlana 2 Builds 0 points 18 months ago

Yes this is a female's build. And read the descript before you criticize please.

shawnshibu123 2 points 18 months ago

It wasn't criticism, I was just wondering why someone would upgrade to a 550ti, I'm sorry for not discerning the dates on the bottom right. Please forgive me :)

Starlana 2 Builds 1 point 18 months ago

Sarcasm can be considered being critical; criticizing.

I havne't upgraded yet, all the parts I listed (minus the ssd, speakers, and headset) was everything I originally ordered back in march 2011. The psu has actually worked fine since I got it, so I will not be changing it IMMEDIATELY!

The 550ti was on sale when I purchased it in 2011 and it was a good priced video card, it actually still works.

I actually have windows 8.1 now so I should change that.
