Because you have a locked CPU, I would have gone with an h77. Otherwise your build is pretty good. Also, it costs L33T.

I know rookie mistakes happen. In my build, I bought a b75 motherboard with a 2700k. I was really unhappy when I found out I couldn't overclock.

Maybe the 3570K can be purchased later....

This is actually a really nice build. The psu will allow for some really nice upgrades later down the road. Only thing i can see is grabbing a H77 motherboard. Other than that, I like it. Looks like some really clean cable management too.

Thank you!

Totally solid build. Wish you went with unlocked CPU, as you would have some safer wiggle room to overclock better now or in the future as needed. Otherwise, well done on part selection.

Nice build and congrats on saving the money and building it yourself.

*CPU - As other have mentioned, it is a locked CPU. Not a big deal is you didn't plan to overclock.

*Mobo - Good Choice

*Memory - Really good choice.

*Storage - Good Choices

*Video - I have an XFX and it is loud. How does yours do under load? Leaf Blower level or less load than that. Dont get me wrong, I like my video card, just wish I couldn't hear it from a room away.

Rest is all subjective to me. Nicely done.

O yes, the graphics card is SO loud, Its not terrible tho because I have a headset so I can't here it when I have it on. About the locked CPU, This was my first build so I really didn't want to overclock. In the future I might get a unlocked i7 or something but this works fine for now.

It seems to be a common problem with XFX cards. I really like the one I have for what it does (low resolution eyefinity), but I hate the heat levels and loud fans. If I keep it (which doesn't seem likely), I am going to try an aftermarket vga cooler. Game On.

Why didn't you fork out the extra money and get an unlocked 3570k? Otherwise having a Z77 motherboard isn't necessary. H77 would be preferred.

I like this one a lot, you did well for a first time on your own.

GAWD, you got a locked cpu. This build would of been perfect if you had gotten the K version.

Ya, if you would have spent a couple more bucks on the 3570k, this would be a great build. Its still really good.
