Description

I use the machine mostly for gaming, video editing, and school.

Everything works well for the machine. Plays games amazing, Battlefield 4 Ultra.

I had a little bit of problems installing the cooler but that's just me because i'm stupid and didn't read the instructions..yeah...

Previous machine: - Zalman Z9 - MSI R7770 -AMD A8-3870K

Used my old machine gave it to family to use :)

The 2 pictures of the old computer are the ones that look different than everything else.

P.S: Also got NZXT Hue LED controller, and accidentally put 2 wireless adapters.

subzerosaul 1 Build 1 point 18 months ago

im in the middle of my amd build.

Captain.Aviator 1 Build 1 point 17 months ago

Im working on an AMD build thats under 700 with a monitor. So far I have an XFX 7870 and a Phenom IIX4 with an Asus monitor. Can you suggest anything else? Also, are Sickle flows as loud as everyone says? Or are they a bit quieter.

Why the 2x wireless network adapters?

AgentPotato submitter 1 Build 1 point 19 months ago

Didn't mean to put them in there :)

plgdg 2 Builds 2 points 19 months ago

I was thinking, "Hmm... Is this some weird technique I don't know about?" Ha...

Swainey97 2 points 16 months ago

Is the Asus VN247H good? How are the colours on this monitor and how you found the gaming on this monitor? How are the viewing angles because many people say TN panels are not too good.
Is the stand stable ?

Enjoy!

just wondering how are these fans? are they loud, do they push the air well?

Frostbyter 1 point 19 months ago

Very good budget gaming, video editing, and schoolwork beast! Even got two monitors, a black widow, and ultimate? wow. Some serious budgeting went into this and it certainly paid off! :)

AgentPotato submitter 1 Build 1 point 19 months ago

Yeah thanks! I got ultimate cause Dad got 3 pack long time ago so I decided to use it :)

Frostbyter 2 points 19 months ago

Wow cool lol. Must have been expensive.

I'm planning on getting this card, how are you liking it? Benchmarks?

AgentPotato submitter 1 Build 1 point 19 months ago

This card is doing me great! I've only had this machine for about 3-4 days. Only game I have been playing is Battlefield 4.

For battlefield 4 you'll be getting about 50-60 solid on auto. Depends on the map also.

For ultra you'll be getting around 40-50 frames. Depends on the map also.

Hope this helps!

This build is perfect for its intended uses!

Any specific reason for Win7 Ult?

ThePCguy2013 1 point 19 months ago

what does HT 3.0 mean?

AgentPotato submitter 1 Build 1 point 19 months ago

I have no idea, where does it say that?

ThePCguy2013 1 point 19 months ago

on amd mobos

D33P_R07 1 Build 1 point 19 months ago

HyperTransport 3.0; it's the system bus on AMD mobos. The Intel equivalent is QPI.

ThePCguy2013 1 point 19 months ago

ok got it.

+1 for the name! Do you like the Hue?

AgentPotato submitter 1 Build 1 point 19 months ago

I LOVE IT. Nuff said.

Winformation 1 point 19 months ago

How's the motherboard? I'm scared to order one because recently they've been coming in DOA from newegg.

AgentPotato submitter 1 Build 2 points 19 months ago

My motherboard working perfect for me :)

tomaryus 1 Build 1 point 19 months ago

Very good looking build. +1. I have a couple questions tho. 16gigs of ram, windows 7 ultimate,2 network adapters, and 2 monitors, why ? With 1500$ you could have built a computer with a 780ti in it

Sjk20 1 point 19 months ago

Don't worry, I'm on the AMD train also

1hitandugo 2 Builds 1 point 19 months ago

Ryan721 1 point 19 months ago

Ill be building a Complete AMD build (with radeon GPU) next month and will be sure to post it up!

Really nice build!

Captain.Aviator 1 Build 1 point 17 months ago

Thats it... Ive made up my mind. Im moving to Canada... Your whole build is only 19.99 there :D Nice build by the way. Are the Sickle flows loud?

Jozmtr 2 points 17 months ago

XD

SneakyBastardSword 1 point 14 months ago

+1 because potato

Gabeson765 1 point 6 months ago

do NOT put your mobo ONTOP of its esd bag... the outside of the bag is what absorbs the static electricity... be more cautious/smart next time.

Elucii 1 point 2 months ago

Other benchmarks? Anything like Subnautica or Stranded Deep?
