550 Ti's not a very good card for the price... 7770 or 6850 would've been a better choice, and you could've made the PSU 500 watt.

Yes I should have went with something different but I was thinking about upgrading in about a year anyway to at least a gtx 570 depending on my budget

danielhep 1 point 25 months ago

Except you could've gotten better for the exact same price in the first place.

like what? I didnt have money leftover after paying for this? This isn't supposed to sound mean I was just wondering what you were thinking. I'm sure I could send it back and get a new graphics card if I wanted to.

ssd is from where?! and pretty good for your first build, im guessing you'll be gaming mildly on it :) a lot of people will say the 550 ti is a little expensive (which imo is), you should have gone for a 6850, or 6770 and then crossfire. ps... no stock coolers are good -__-" nice parts!

I was on a budget plus what i payed for my 550ti wasn't that bad. I only payed about 100 us dollars for it. Also I'm hopefully getting an SSD soon and I know I said the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO but now I'm thinking of getting a Corsair H80

How well does this rig play?

Good enough for the price but then again I don't have any very demanding games yet.

Why do people go with the x4s and not x6s?

DevinCLott [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 25 months ago

You mean the cpu? I was on a budget and didn't have the extra money.

ahad 1 point 24 months ago

To me everything looks good the only minor thing would be the gpu(as danielhep said) i would definetly get the 6850 for the budget if you can use the extra dollars the 6870 is a really good choice.
