how do you like the cooler master keyboard? i've been thinking hard about getting one.

DjArtifact 2 points 15 months ago

It's a good keyboard. Coolermaster has some of the most well built keyboards on the market right now.

thats awesome. i like it for the simple fact that i have a cooler master case with the red and black theme. something like this would keep things in line with the theme. but if the functionality isn't there then who really cares about the theme ya know?

It feels like a tank. Very heavy and feel very sturdy. The keys's caps are coated with rubber so it's very easy to clean with a wet tower.

Good build so far ! More pictures would have been a plus but the parts are well chosen at last, enjoy your beast ;)

I'm thinking of taking the last picture when I have my sound card :)

I like your build a lot. I was going to comment on your acer monitor being kinda low end for your pc, but then I see that it's going to be a second monitor, so that's a really cool setup all around.

How do you like that Acer monitor? I was recently looking into that one.

papen [Submitter] [2 Builds] 1 point 15 months ago

Been with me for 3 years. It was my first monitor. It's screen is matte so there is no annoying reflection of a glass screen. It's very easy to read text. My opinion is it's decent. It's not expensive.

Haha.. I just hate the noctua fans's color. I was going for H100i but It was noisy. I read a lot of horror stories about how the tube leak and fry all the component. I'm glad I went for a air cooling solution.

How is that fan controller treatng you?

papen [Submitter] [2 Builds] 1 point 15 months ago

Pretty good. I can change the LED color as well as switching from voltage reading to temperature reading if I want to.

BeardCreep 1 point 15 months ago

can you control all the fans based on one temperature? its the only reason i dont want the recon

papen [Submitter] [2 Builds] 1 point 15 months ago

There's no automatic. You have to turn the fan's speed by hand...

BeardCreep 1 point 15 months ago

oh, nevermind then. thanks :D

Nice build, I like it a lot, especially since you put a bottom intake to provide extra intake, it always helps out the GPU, enjoy your build, hope it brings you hours of gaming pleasure this summer. c:

papen [Submitter] [2 Builds] 1 point 15 months ago

Thank you for your kind comment. I'm still not sure if it's a good idea to have an extra fan at the bottom since I already had a 200mm side fan. It's just lying around so why not?

It's crazy how massive the phanteks cooler is. You should add more internal pictures, but it looks like a premium build.

papen [Submitter] [2 Builds] 1 point 15 months ago

I know.. like all the high end air coolers are really massive. That's why people stay away and go for liquid cooler. The only cooler I feel only the Corsair 100i or 110 are worth but it's more expensive by almost $50. There's still a risk of leaking. I feel that closed loop cooler still has a long way to go, unless you can build your own custom loop.

What do you use for over locking your gpu?

papen [Submitter] [2 Builds] 1 point 15 months ago

EVGA PrecisionX.
