Description

(Im going to be putting this computer up for sale real soon on eBay, if any one wants it let me know by shooting me an email at [email protected] Im asking $3500 for it. Thank you)

Purpose: Gaming and editing/rendering.

If you guys loved the pics then you will definitely love the video. Its on my channel youtube.com/thramkar

Motherboard: The best of the best, had to go with an overkill mobo such as the Rampage :) P.S. PCpartpicker stated that this motherboard and this case are incompatible...I showed them! (please fix that error)

CPU: Had to go with a 6-core i7 because 6cores are amazing for rendering and Intel has the best CPU's on the planet. The performance boost between the 4930k and 4960x are ~6% so I got more bang for the buck.

CPU Cooler: Nothing special, just went with a brand I trust and this is their best cpu cooler.

RAM: went with Dominator Platinum's, the best money can buy and got 16gb to help with editing/rendering. Also the color being silver is a huge Plus :D

GPU: What can I say, had to rock a 780ti. Great for editing/rendering and awesome for gaming. (I sanded off the green lettering on the side so it can show off as white which matches my theme.

Case: I love this case, its my favorite case to date. Mid-Sized tower, beautiful and elegant design, love the fact that you can hide the power supply underneath and cable management was super easy!

OS: I personally hate windows 8.1 but I got it because it offers better performance in most areas.

Storage: Believe it or not, I dont use up much space. 512gb is plenty for me. I watch a lot of movies, play games and edit a lot of files and I organize and delete ones that I dont use which always leave me with plenty of space. I have never used more than 300gb of space in my life. If that time comes ill add another 512gb SSD with RAID 0 right next to it.

Fans: Standard quiet fans, again from a brand I trust. They also have replaceable rings which I can match to my theme!

I love technology and I love building PC's, my channel revolves around this and if you guys like to see more PC builds then feel free to check it out. I will upload constantly on this website as well so make sure to check back frequently to see more cool builds. Leave any criticisms bad or good in the comments section because I love reading all of them and please leave a -1 or +1 (whichever you think this build deserves). Thank you!

Haha Awesome! Thanks.

SparkyOnPC 3 points 4 months ago

Edited My comment, didn't read! Is there a youtube video on how to do this? +1

JailBreak [Submitter] [2 Builds] 3 points 4 months ago

I dont really know, but I can give you more info later today about it, its really simple.

SparkyOnPC 2 points 4 months ago

Alright, thank you! I was also planning a black and white build too! if you want here's the link: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3dEvH If I can figure out how to get the logo white then I will most likely get the reference card :)

JailBreak [Submitter] [2 Builds] 6 points 4 months ago

sweet parts! Basically just grab some sand paper 280-350 grit and rub it against the letters, it wont scratch the card and it will just rub off the paint on the letters and you are good to go!

SparkyOnPC 2 points 4 months ago

Is there a video tutorial on youtube or something? lol

CosmicUnlimited 2 points 3 months ago

I am actually really interested in doing this. This looks stunning.

AintScurred 5 points 3 months ago

Guys for the youtube tutorial here it is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HyDxXhkh7EY

JailBreak [Submitter] [2 Builds] 4 points 4 months ago

Thanks Cata.

Catalyzer [1 Build] 4 points 4 months ago

Also i see that TechSource channel on YouTube has made and presented a video based on the build. I'm subbed to that channel , did you submit your build to them ?

JailBreak [Submitter] [2 Builds] 5 points 4 months ago

Thats our channel :D

fnapoli [1 Build] 5 points 4 months ago

The whole time I was looking at the build my mind was saying "ugh that green GPU logo is going to ruin this amazing build" ..... You proved me SO WRONG! amazing! I had no idea you could sand off the green like that.

Sweeeeet! +1!

JailBreak [Submitter] [2 Builds] 2 points 4 months ago

Ya, sanding that off was the best decision, thanks fnapoli. Awesome build you got there btw. +1

manirelli [Staff] [1 Build] 3 points 4 months ago

Unfortunately, per manufacturer specs on the H440 EATX is not supported.

JailBreak [Submitter] [2 Builds] 2 points 4 months ago

Thats what it states, but we got it to fit!

TheUnknownPC 3 points 4 months ago

Hows the Monitor

JailBreak [Submitter] [2 Builds] 3 points 4 months ago

better than any other 27" monitor I ever had.

TheTekJake [1 Build] 3 points 4 months ago

I would give up an arm, leg, a couple of organs, my house, and my firstborn child for this computer. Seriously. Killer stuff right here. +1,000,000

GaldedRaw 2 points 4 months ago

How did I miss this build. It is sure sex. Well done. Upvoted

JailBreak [Submitter] [2 Builds] 1 point 4 months ago

Thank you sir! Have you watched the video?

GaldedRaw 1 point 4 months ago

Nah, in Afghanistan right now and my work schedule has changed so unable to watch youtube videos at this time.

opbogus 2 points 4 months ago

You should really do a detailed video on sanding down that logo. I think it would be one of a kind( haven't checked). Also not sure if you care enough about the mouse but the Clg Deathadder 2013 edition looks great and is black and white.

JailBreak [Submitter] [2 Builds] 1 point 4 months ago

Hmm perhaps...my schedule is pretty hectic this whole week because of the htc one m8 launch and s5 launching soon, so ill try and see if I can fit that in. Thanks

FlusherBox 2 points 4 months ago

100% pure beauty, good job

Goglo 2 points 4 months ago

Hey man, so does it not allow for an Optical drive at all?

JailBreak [Submitter] [2 Builds] 2 points 3 months ago

You can if you want. I just did not want one.

Goglo 2 points 3 months ago

Oh alright. The reason I ask is because I want to use the same case as you. But when I try to add an optical drive the compatibility checker tells me the case won't allow for one.

skaran27 2 points 3 months ago

Hey man I am doing a similar build but in the Corsair 750D I boght the 3 fans like you the Corsiar Air Series AF140 where would I put them? Did you put 4 fans on the rad or just two on the bottom? And where is the 3 fan in your build? and where did you put the corsiar 120mm Fan?

JailBreak [Submitter] [2 Builds] 0 points 3 months ago

2 fans on the radiator, 1 140mm fan on the back and thats basically all the fans I used.

skaran27 2 points 3 months ago

But then why did you buy 3 fans 140 fans?

JailBreak [Submitter] [2 Builds] 0 points 3 months ago

2x 120mm (Radiator) 1x 140mm (Rear exhaust) 3x Stock fans on the front.

cooperred [2 Builds] 1 point 4 months ago

That is one sexy white build. +1

JailBreak [Submitter] [2 Builds] 1 point 4 months ago

Thank you kind sir :)

j9506 [1 Build] 1 point 4 months ago

Clean sexy build! Wish mine could've been half as good.

JailBreak [Submitter] [2 Builds] 1 point 4 months ago

No need to wish! It can happen!

tmans19 1 point 4 months ago

I keep trying to put together a parts list but every time I see a build like this I have to keep changing it ahhhhhhhh!!!!! so good

JailBreak [Submitter] [2 Builds] 1 point 4 months ago

hahah, thanks man.

hitmaniac [1 Build] 1 point 4 months ago

This is utterly beautiful. I love it. Like a lot.

JailBreak [Submitter] [2 Builds] 1 point 4 months ago

Thanks!

Firebolt1914 1 point 4 months ago

I honestly think you should be getting better Firestrike scores than that. I have a 7970, and this is what I got: http://puu.sh/7GHeg.jpg

JailBreak [Submitter] [2 Builds] 1 point 4 months ago

Ya, not much I can do there. Thats what it gave me. Maybe I had some programs running in the background or something.

justinlee98 1 point 4 months ago

Were there any problems with the fit of the motherboard?

JailBreak [Submitter] [2 Builds] 1 point 4 months ago

No problems, only thing is, since it was a bigger motherboard, it will cover the rubber grommets on the right side, so for cable management you just have to run the cables to the side of the case like we did in the picture.

TheUnknownPC 1 point 4 months ago

Get That CPU 2 4.8GHz !!!!

[comment deleted]

epicpcgamer [1 Build] 1 point 4 months ago

I love this! My build budget only supports a 200r, hope I can make do until I can get the H440!

JailBreak [Submitter] [2 Builds] 1 point 4 months ago

awesome!

MinK 1 point 4 months ago

Which would be the best way to run a radiator, 2 fans in a pull or 4 in a push pull?

JailBreak [Submitter] [2 Builds] 1 point 4 months ago

If you have the room go with 4 push/pull, but if you dont, like I didnt, then go with 2 fans. The CPU is the coolest I have ever had in any of my PC builds with 2 fan setup, I dont know if the difference would be extremely higher if you added 2 more fans, but I assume it would help a little at least.

MinK 2 points 4 months ago

Thanks man

opbogus 1 point 4 months ago

Do you have a video of you sanding down that green geforce logo. Would love to do the same just not sure how to.

JailBreak [Submitter] [2 Builds] 1 point 4 months ago

Unfortunately I dont :( Its really simple, just get a sand paper 200-300 grit and sand it off slowly and carefully. You cant damage the card that way and its really easy, just takes time.

PaterasAxios [1 Build] 1 point 4 months ago

Love the build! So clean and that white LED GEFORCE GTX! Simply stunning! I have to ask, if you look at my build, I have an orange and black theme, where did you get the mod to turn the green to white? I would love to change mine to orange.

JailBreak [Submitter] [2 Builds] 1 point 4 months ago

You have to take apart your card 1st, and sand down the lettering with light sand paper.

ixkobexi [1 Build] 1 point 4 months ago

Awesome build man! Subscribed to your YouTube! Great job! :)

JailBreak [Submitter] [2 Builds] 1 point 4 months ago

Thanks!

JailBreak [Submitter] [2 Builds] 1 point 4 months ago

Thanks bro! OK, so here are you answers.

1) The motherboard was a perfect fit if you dont mind it overlapping the grommets on the right side. Also the motherboard will touch the case metal since the NZXT kind of curves outward, so what we did to mitigate that was cut out some of the grommets that was not going to be used (the ones that the motherboard was covering)and put those under the motherboard on the section where it touches the motherboard just to make sure nothing bad happens.

2) Remove the card from the PC and take apart the side plate and the top 2 plates of the GPU and you gain access to the LOGO which is on the side of the GPU, take some light sand paper 200-300 grit and sand it off slowly and carefully, make sure to aim the GPU in a way that the sandpaper particles fall straight down and not get it in your GPU. Once the letters are sanded off, get an air blaster and blast away any particles just incase some got on the card. Replace everything back on the GPU and insert in your PC.

Hope that helps!

JailBreak [Submitter] [2 Builds] 1 point 4 months ago

If you look directly at the case, on the right side there are 2 grommets, those are the 2 that you are going to overlap and you are going to have to add some grommets under the right side of the motherboard (if you look at the nzxt case you can see the case inside wall kind of curve outwards) thats where you have to add the rubbers. Its really obvious, once you start to do it.

Yup! Thats it! No problem :) Check out our video and leave a like and comment if you have time! We greatly appreciate it!

manuel9827 1 point 4 months ago

How long did it take for you to get that case?

JailBreak [Submitter] [2 Builds] 1 point 4 months ago

Um, it shipped pretty quick from newegg. 1 day after I ordered it.

manuel9827 1 point 4 months ago

Really? I've seen it always says it ships in 1-2 months..

JailBreak [Submitter] [2 Builds] 1 point 4 months ago

When I ordered it, it was in stock. I guess its sold out now :/

manuel9827 1 point 4 months ago

I see :C cause I checked on amazon and NCIX and they always had said 1-2 months ;/

User4154 1 point 4 months ago

For $3500, I was expecting at least dual 780 tis, but if 1 is all you need, then that's cool. Apart from that, I'm loving those white cables and LED's. Fantastic cable management, too. One of the best looking builds I've ever seen. Very nice job.

JailBreak [Submitter] [2 Builds] 1 point 4 months ago

Thanks for the compliments! Ya, I figured 1 Ti would suffice for what I am using the PC for. I can always add 1 later on if I feel like I need it.

rockchalkcs99 1 point 4 months ago

The only thing that worries me about this case is the lack of airflow. What are your temperatures at idle/load on the GPU?

JailBreak [Submitter] [2 Builds] 1 point 4 months ago

Air flow is fine. I edit a lot of videos and game hardcore and yet have witnessed any problems. Ill check today and report back.

rockchalkcs99 2 points 4 months ago

Thanks for the quick reply!

ssjhook [1 Build] 1 point 4 months ago

Hey how's the heating on this? I'm thinking of buying it and was worried about the small vents.

JailBreak [Submitter] [2 Builds] 1 point 3 months ago

Its pretty cool, i wouldnt put 2 graphics cards in there though. Check the Temps I added on the right side.

Mustabser29 1 point 3 months ago

would this work for 3 3d moniters

hjj174 1 point 3 months ago

If the part of windows 8.1 is the metro or miss the old start button then this is for you. Will never have to see metro again unless you manually go to it. http://www.classicshell.net/

AintScurred 1 point 3 months ago

I just washed my jeans a few hours and now you want me to wash them again, god! +1 though great build

JailBreak [Submitter] [2 Builds] 1 point 3 months ago

hahah thanks!

NFs2192 1 point 3 months ago

Almost the exact same build I plan to do with the same uses. What kind of render times are you getting. Used to take me like a day to render a 10 sec scene from Cinema 4D, and after effects is like 2hrs for a 3min video

JailBreak [Submitter] [2 Builds] 1 point 3 months ago

Adobe premiere takes me 5min to render something thats ~11min long.

Hussein.H 1 point 3 months ago

Looks amazing! I'm going busking, f**k this ****.

mashini 1 point 3 months ago

How are you liking this motherboard so far? I'm looking at building a gaming rig around it in preparation for Star Citizen next year. Part of my brain is screaming: No, wait, the x79 is at the end of its life cycle, the other (the main) part of my brain is going: Your laptop is dying, it needs a good replacement now!

Anyhow, I'll be lowballing myself on the Videocard on the near future purchase and pumping this baby with an i7 CPU if you think it's a good investment... Especially since I'd be going over my short term budget if I did otherwise.

JailBreak [Submitter] [2 Builds] 1 point 3 months ago

Love the motherboard! The best of the best.

slayer1ss 1 point 3 months ago

Hi, in 1 or 2 months i will be building same system to myself as a new work station but i have 1 question to you. Have you ever tested this build with more than 1 monitor? If you have tested was there any performance or heat issues with GTX 780ti?

Mohamed.Fathy 1 point 3 months ago

Amazing Pc Parts ... I Wanna To Build Same it :)

Elshelfo 1 point 3 months ago

One of the only builds I have seen where using the word "beast" in the name is OK. Good build I like it a lot.

Nadox97 1 point 3 months ago

How would one go about achieving that amazing White GEFORCE GTX Logo?

[comment deleted]

Ranxos [1 Build] 1 point 2 months ago

Loving this, overkill on MOBO and cpu for gaming for me, but for you it looks like you lvoe it

goku9122 [3 Builds] 1 point 2 months ago

To be honest. I'm In love with this build. Every thing is awesome. One question please, how did you make the GEFORCE GTX glow with white instead of green? Is it related to LED cables?

JailBreak [Submitter] [2 Builds] 1 point 2 months ago

Nope, we sanded it off. I am doing another build soon with the same concept and in the video I will show how its done. Make sure to stick around at our channel to find out how we did it.

goku9122 [3 Builds] 1 point 2 months ago

Ok, Thanks. Once again, I really like your build.

1star2014 1 point 2 months ago

Nyg_empyre 1 point 2 months ago

Great build i was just wondering about your monitor how is it? does the 5ms response time affect it alot? would you recommend it for heavy gaming? thanks and +1 on your amazing build

JailBreak [Submitter] [2 Builds] 1 point 2 months ago

No complaints. Its great for gaming.

Nyg_empyre 1 point 2 months ago

HOLLY ****! that pc looks awesome

i'm about to start my first PC build using the NZXT H440 case :D

any ideas about a motherboard to fit a black and white look for my build (i'm thinking about the ASUS sabertooth z87)

PacificNic [1 Build] 2 points 2 months ago

Any Sabertooth, EVGA Z97, Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 (AM3+ MoBo), and some others

PacificNic [1 Build] 1 point 2 months ago

I know I'm late to the party but WOW! This thing is freaking BEAUTIFUL! Expensive as all hell, sure, but a beauty. How are you liking the monitor? It looks cool but how does it actually perform? Sweet build, man. I am really jealous.

kgq101 1 point 28 days ago

can i play games smoothly on a 4k monitor with this system?thinking of building the same system

Zedzer 1 point 7 days ago

Probably not as smooth but with a 780ti you should expect 30-40 fps in most games. Just add in another one later and you'll get the one best systems around for 4k. :)

lol I cant believe you sanded off the green off the GPU

Zedzer 1 point 7 days ago

It looks a ton better IMO

Zedzer 1 point 7 days ago

Nothing gets more epic than this. Antd this time around the overused "beast" name fits. +1 :D

Zedzer 1 point 7 days ago

I would probably remove the hdd trays because they might restrict airflow by a bit...

PictorialTemplar 1 point 2 days ago

Nice build. Just a quick question. Did you connect all the fans to the fan hub and then the hub to the motherboard or did you connect each fan to the motherboard?
