Actually went with a steel series gaming Apex keyboard and of course last min change to a solid Red Tower
in regards to the power supply its been a while since I have had to buy a new Power supply so I went with a company i haven't had issues with in the past. thanks for the heads up thou, ill check those out when i build my next rig!
Alright, my question is does it even run minesweeper. I saw the requirements and they aren't pretty. +1 build
yeah, circlejerk it up guys.
Alright, I'm jerking my circle right now.
love the picture of the computer on the computer monitor only thing better would be a camera inside the computer recording it ....hmmmmmm ideal!!
That is such major overkill lol
You cant utilize the two 780s with 1080p monitors.
with 3 moniters?
I play on a 1440p monitor with a single 780 on ultra with every game and have no problems hitting 50-70 fps, so no two of them are not needed.
D: This is a very sweet build. I wish I had the money you had... And why 2 mice?
i bought 2 mice one for MMOs and Moba games like Leagues and the other is for shooters where i like an on the fly DPS adjustment
Damn this is a nice build.
why not get G45? its 30 dollars cheaper, you couldve allocated that into getting a quality psu
other than that nice job. do you happen to be an engineer?
Yes I just so happen to be :D
mechanical or electrical?
I am a Topographic Engineer.
You brought this setup to college? I wouldn't trust rowdy roommates.
no thats my room lol
I like the build, good call on the two mice. Though do you ever find yourself getting to like the keypad in FPS games too?
Side question - I'm not familiar with the board, but do you only have one stick of RAM in it or does that board not have dual channel with a 1/3 and 2/4 slot combo? It looks like you have the last two slots unfilled (3/4) meaning you aren't seeing dual channel?
Anyway, good build...but (intended to be funny) I would have skipped the second 780 and used the remaining cash to buy a desk with better mouse-movement retail space. :)
i plan to buy another set of ram here in a few. and putting new furniture in my barracks room is a little difficult cause i have to keep the old stuff for when i leave. I actually have never considered a gaming pad. never really saw a use for one.
By keypad I meant the one on the naga. For furniture, it was only intended to be a funny comment. I can understand space restrictions...
Nice build! But aren't u worried about your rig falling off the desk? :P jk just messing with ya
How smoth is your gaming geting 100+ fps do you see screen tearing?
If you are still using the full tower nzxt phantom, how did u mount the ssd.
i fitted it to a HDD mount. it was akward but it worked
Love the Build what are your frames like on league?
I avg around 60 FPS
Edit: with Vert sync off and FPS set to benchmark it fluxes between 216-330
Why not crossfire r9 290x?
Preference it took some convincing to not put SLI titans in this thing. my wallet and I compromised to the 780s
those cards havent been released, he would need to wait to have them
I told this to a guy before, if your budget is over $900 you should be doing liquid cooling.
Nice build. The power supply isn't great. You could have gotten a much better power supply in the $125 range from seasonic, xfx, pcpc, or corsair.
