Decided I wanted a Machine to play the latest titles out there... so I built one. I went with the EVGA GTX 570 SC cause it was a higher end card, that wouldn't break the bank.

I will tell you this rig runs Battlefield 3 at Ultra settings with a solid 60+ FPS

If it was between the Cooler Master HAF 912 or this one which would you pick?

I'd probably stick with the NZXT... simply cause of its simplicity, yet it has enough features for me. It's really up to you though, but thats my input.

Anyone know if i should buy a 50-100 dollar range mobo or a 100-180 dollar range mobo if im a $500 budget without the purchase of a video card

I'd go with a more expensive one, maybe one with a UEFI Bios. A Motherboard is something you shouldn't go cheap on.

So probably a Sabertooth 990FX for my Phenom ii x4 965

Nice, but I agree with Laziirs you should have gone for a 7870. Great cablemanagement btw!!!

I think the EVGA 570 2.5 vram is about the same price? I'm not sure! Nice build!

I certainly hope it was not! D:

Hi, I haven't built yet, but would be looking at something along the lines of this. I do have a question though: With such a powerful 2GB GPU does the processor ever hold it back? Would this be something you look into upgrading in the future? Thanks

NOOO switch out that GTX 570 for a radon 7970. Same price but the 7970 performs cooler, more power efficient and runs games %25 faster.

PimpSugaDaddy [1 Build] 1 point 29 months ago

The 7970 is over $400. He got a really good deal on that 570.

Laziirz 1 point 29 months ago

I meant 7870 my bad
