$650 AMD Budget Build First Time Build

Description

I recently build this Gaming/Video Editing Rig. I wanted to keep the price around $650 and I wanted something that could play video games on fairly high settings as well as let me do power user functions easily. I was able to build this whole machine for around $650 because I already owned the mechanical hard drive, DVD burner, and wireless network card. Everything works great so far! I am looking to overclock my CPU to 4.0 Ghz, but I know very little about overclocking so advice would be appreciated. My GPU came with Crysis 3, Tomb Raider, Bioshock Infinite, and Far Cary 3 Blood Dragon. I am now looking to upgrade my monitor and peripherals soon. Feel free to leave comments and suggestions. Overall building my own computer was a great experience and I had a lot of fun and learned a lot. I am never going back to pre-made desktops!

How does that wifi card work? I see very mixed reviews on it..and seeing as I plan on setting up across the house from my router, I need one!

Please change that power supply to a different brand! Cheap power supplies like that coolmax are very dangerous to systems. I can tell you other brands that would work better.

IMO, you should have gone with an APU build.

Why? I wanted a dedicated GPU and crossfire with an APU is usually not terribly successful.

have you tried gaming without the gpu at like 720p to see how it would handle it?
