Description

So its the end of the school year and I figured id dump all of my left over spending money from the last year and a half on a new gaming/Streaming computer. Stupid Idea as a college student but oh well. I was at first thinking of only spending about $1300 and it eventually blew up to the point where it is now. It is completely overkill for the games that I play on a regular bases(WoW, LoL, and the occasional new release.)

Now some of these parts I got for free or scored at a deal from some friends. The AX 850 and the corsair dominator's I got for free as a birthday gift. I also got the gtx 680 with a aquacomputer waterblock for $350 from a friend who was upgrading to the titans (almost got two but I couldn't afford the second one at the time)

But at the same time this build is not complete I still need to get my second gtx 680 which I plan to get some time in the summer. I also need to get my second radiator for when I get my new 680. I also need to add some UV lighting and a fan controller to the build since it is fairly expensive.

Got quite a bit of pictures and some of them maybe blurry sorry about that. I suck at taking pics xD

Let me know what you guys think!

Great deals on parts, great cable management, and awesome 144Hz monitor to push maximum FPS. I'm assuming non 3D gaming but maximizing Frames per second. High quality parts makes this build, though overkill, very balanced. I really enjoyed browsing the pictures, thank you for sharing them. I would love to see some Heaven Unigine / valley as well as 3DMark11 benchmarks. Happy Gaming!!!

Yeah I dont think i will go 3d anytime soon. But cable management even in this case with 11 fans was a struggle lol!

yes indeed ;) Btw if you don't have it and wanted to test it out. COD Black Ops 2 is free this weekend on steam until Sunday.

Hmmm maybe ill check it out. I'll also do some benchmarks later for you too if you would like. I did some earlier but I completely forgot to screen shot them.

Really awesome freaking build! Also really sweet monitor setup. You got some sick gifts and deals. All of your components are of the highest quality and are top of the line. Honestly I think the only thing overkill for you is the CPU. Everything else is just at the highest quality end for gaming. You're going to be enjoying some of the sickest gaming for some time to come. Big +Upvote

It would be over kill if I didn't stream my games. The broadcaster I use takes advantage of multitasking so its less straining on my comp while streaming.

But I guess when i'm not streaming its pretty over kill but I do coding and some video editing as well so i guess it kinda evens out.

I had a stock cooler in because I was waiting on my water cooling to come in. If you look at the other pictures I added the water cooling in
