2 videos in 24 hours! And at least five in 4-6 weeks! You guys are on a roll! Also, this is my first lifestream from you guys.

I'd love to watch this, but the audio needs to be fixed.

Never mind, problem with my headphone jack and sound card. Oops!!!

IKR? Oh, well. Speakers seem to work fine. I have no problems with the headphones while playing non-YouTube video or with TeamSpeak, but just after the intro, I lose the sound (with the headphones plugged in). Gotta be the sound card.

(Hint? Was that a hint? I don't take hints, I'm an American!!) :)

No SSD in the parts list?

Forgot to add it in - he's using a Samsung 850 Pro 1TB.

Ok, next questions: why not two Quadro cards or two 980Ti? And no OS costs? Liquid cooling a workstation with just consumer grade AIO coolers? Why not air cooling instead? Ok, example time; take a look at this config for a well-known YouTuber to see what I'm talking about.

So... Trying to understand the feedback here. We built a system for a specific need, not to be a general template.

One Quadro for 10-bit color support. The 980 Ti for the other monitor(s), CUDA, and gaming. Blake addressed why he didn't go air cooling in the video. He's not overclocking, so the H75 is fine. We just didn't include the OS in the description, but he's running 10.0 Pro.

Sorry, I missed the cooling explanation; the vid's kinda long and I got called into work, so I had to skim somewhat. My thoughts are that if you're going to spend that kind of change on a build and showcase it in a video, then someone will ask as to why you made the design choices you did, especially if they have any real interest in building PCs. If it is a memorable (or expensive, or both) build, then I feel it's much more likely to be looked at as a template for others trying to accomplish similar capabilities with their systems. Hmm... let me put it this way; if the brevity of the questions made it sound like I was hostile to the build, I'm not, and I apologize for giving that impression. I was trying to look at it as an opportunity to enlighten and / or encourage those who might not be as versed in configuration design as you folks.

Do you have any driver issues with the quadro and the geforce combination?

Stumbled across this build. Very nice. My neighbor is looking to upgrade his rendering pc. This would be an awesome machine to see in action. Thanks for posting.
