Average. Does the job, but would look for something on sale as an alternative.

from completed build "Black Cherry" - 1st Build

I got this to replace the stock fan on my Cooler Master GeminII M4 and I must say that it works very well and is quiet running fan.

from completed build Silent Air Cooled X99 Build

This fan is barely audible when running in low RPMs and even at high RPMs while you can hear the fan, it is not a harsh sound. I used this fan to replace the stock fan on the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO in my build because the stock fan made a harsh mechanical noise even on low RPMs. With this fan, my CPU temperature dropped down by around 3 degrees on average. As an added bonus, it looks nicer because of the color ring.
