Reviews

from completed build My first build

This CPU is excellent and will last for quite some time as I found. The CPU is very fast for everyday tasks but not so much in some productivity programs. But still, on a budget this CPU is a awesome choice.

from completed build Mystique PC Upgrade

One of the best Core i5 to get without overclocking. Quad-core, very snappy. Windows and games have never been faster.

from completed build Blue Angel (First Build)

Beautifully efficient processor. The only reason I don't give it five stars is due to no overclocking potential.

from completed build My First Gaming Built

This CPU is enough for my gaming needs with its quad core. I can multitask easily and for the price, this is definitely worth it.

from completed build First Gaming PC Build!

Solid, does the job!

from completed build BIO DIGITAL JAZZ

Excellent chip - turbos to 3.7GHz without too much heat in a tiny system with limited cooling, and makes for a great little system coupled with a decent GPU - didn't need that i7 after all...

This processor destroyed everything I threw at it.

from completed build First ever build

Great little chip I must say. Runs at 3.3ghz and can be boosted to 3.7. The stock fan was all I needed for it since it isn't an overclockable cpu. If you aren't really into overclocking this is a great choice to go with for the price.

Absolutely nothing bad to say about this CPU. It will handle most games for the next 3-4 years without issue (with a GPU update in there of course). It never goes above 67C during heavy gaming with multi-tasking. Intel does it again with a great CPU for a reasonable price. I'd highly recommend this i5 to someone interested in gaming who doesn't want to be bothered with overclocking.

from completed build Core i5 and HIS 7950 build

This CPU was the cheapest quad core I could find on the LGA 1150 platform. It works fine for gaming and general use.
