I strongly dislike this windows 8, I much preffer my win 7 pro but it was cheaper and within my budget. I only buy Pro series windows call me crazy :P

Got this for free from my uncle who works at microsoft

from completed build Desert Thunder

Windows 8.1 Pro System Builder OEM DVD 64-Bit. I like it, as I can go from a cold boot to desktop in seconds.

from completed build Rising Phoenix

Works fine, I've went and done unthinkable and got it over 7, there are few performance upgrades. It looks almost like 7 with proper software ("startisback"), thanks to it my windows launches straight to the desktop and I don't even have to look at metro (except when I want to change something in account setting etc), plus free update to windows 10 is coming soon.

from completed build Noobstar's Build :D

Not a big fan of Windows 8.1 but its great:)

from completed build Ace - my first build ever.

Wouldn't be running without this lil ****.

from completed build "SHOGUN"

Im used to it now, and since migrated with my OS I've been a happy camper. Since I am a college student still, i managed to benefit by getting a copy from the school with the student discount on 8.1 for $60 :)

from completed build First build

Windows 8.1 is amazing, stable, and doesn't use nearly as much memory as people like to ***** about. If you hate the start menu, use Start8. If you hate the look of it, I'll judge you, probably.

Used all version of Windows

this is still OK for me
