stores games and other crap i dont need all the time . 10/10 would buy again

Simple Mechanical HDD, can' go wrong.

from completed build Tiny Tina 2.5

Got a lot of flack for high failure rates. Same with WD Caviar Blues so kinda scratching my head with that one. I'd be happy with either, but this was the first 1TB 7200RPM I saw, so I bought it. No regrets. Really fast and quiet. It did grind for a couple days after 2-3months usage, but that went away and performance never degraded.

After being in use for close to 3 years, this hard drive has become quite noisy. I'm anticipating its going to bail soon, but I would have like to get a little more life from it. Will probably upgrade to an SSD or grab a Western Digital down the road.

Not the fastest out there but great inexpensive storage option nonetheless. Great bang for your buck HDD!

Amazing SSHD.

Chose this for budget reasons + needed somewhere to store music etc for the PC. Was a good choice and have no complaints.
