If you do not have the money for a SSD get this. It takes a while to learn which programs you run the most and slot them in the SSD portion of the drive. Pretty zippy but not a true SSD. This will be the storage drive when the SSD arrives.

Some of the best money I put into the build. Plugged it in and it loads like a champ. Windows 8.1 in 5 seconds.

Works like it needs to, and my boot time is down to about 30 seconds.

If you can't swing a SSD right of the bat use this hybrid till you can then convert it to a backup.

It has a lot of storage, and the SSD part of it is very fast. My only complaint is that it makes it sound like there is a thunderstorm at my desk sometimes.

Great product... it's really quiet

Plenty fast, boots my Windows 10 Home in 11 seconds. Plenty of storage, 1TB is more than I'll ever need. Will remain my primary boot drive for a long time.

SSHD a good solution for a need of SSD speed but hard drive storage, I have one of these in my build and my PC starts up in about 46 seconds. I've already used Five Hundred gigs Three Hundred gigs I have had no issues.

2/21/2016 Yesterday I was editing a video and the screen froze with pixel glory.(Nothing lost) I restarted it today because my PC wasn't working. When it restarted I was horrified to see that Windows was checking the disk. After ten minutes of that it restarted and worked. Just a reminder to myself and to you all to keep BACKUPS.
