The Prodigy is so freaking cool. +1

With all those power cables in there, it looks like your cramming a bunch of snakes in there. Creepy fun!

Nice build. How is the H75? I was tempted to get it for a possible small form factor build but since it's relatively new I wasn't sure about its performance. How are you finding it?

If I were you I would've spent a couple extra bucks on an H80i. It probably achiveves better temps than the 75 due to having a thicker rad. Also, for "some" video editing and mainly gaming, a top tier i5 such as the 4670k would have suited you fine for $50 less. One more thing, if you're doing a little more than "some" editing, I would recommend at some point trading out those 2 sticks of 4GB of RAM and for a 2x8GB kit.

Rock on! My build is almost identical parts-wise, but in a Hadron Air. Love the i7/780 setup. (Also not sure if you knew or care but with that mobo you can super easily install OS X lol)

You really should of done yourself a favor and got a full modular PSU.

As already pointed out by other users, questionable part choice, unused HDD cage could be removed for airflow, ugly cables :O

i'm not sure why most of these comments are getting downvoted (could be a troll, for all i know), but many offer good points, as there's very little explanation from the description. for one, why the decision on an i7 when an i5 would've been just fine? why a 750W power supply when a 500W unit would've been just as fine? why a $120 Blu-Ray drive when there are units with a far better deal? why an H75 when an H80i is only a few dollars more?

i hope OP gets back to us with a better explanation. many of us here at PCPP want to help people make better-informed decisions, and a detailed explanation - even for some parts lists we find okay - goes a long way.

Its a showoff build really.Im guessing thats the reason behind the i7. And the 750w is just for expansion.

He did say in the title its a "LAN party show off." He achieved just that.

Had to login just to comment on that. That is clearly the best description of a "rats nest". Sorry, clean up it... my god. I would never want to even open my computer...

The only good thing I can say of this build is some of the parts used..

No **** a LAN party show off! ;) But if you really wanted to show off you should have gotten the Maximus VI Impact! Enjoy!

What a mess I know this case sucks for cable management but you can do better than that.
