Description

This is my backup pc that I use when my main pc is being upgraded/maintained. I've been building a lot of water-cool/liquid-cool pc's with RGB lights recently but this time I wanted to build a simple air cooled pc with no crazy RGB lighting.

I've used some 140mm noctua fans before and I loved how quiet they ran and I really wanted to build a full chromax themed pc since they released chromax line-up.

Noctua fans move so much air while keeping acoustics low and nice, the end result is a very quiet pc that runs as cool as some liquid-cooled computers.

Hope you guys like it. Thanks.

Yea I love white cases. I still have 2 more white cases sitting around that I will build systems in the future.

Meshify C + noctua cooler/fan setup seems to be very popular on PCPP. :)

Wow, really nice build, congrats. I think I'll build the same system but instead of the i7 I'll go with the Ryzen 7 2700X. How is the Memory clearance? No height issue between the Noctua cooler and the Tempered glass? Congrats again!

I had to use corsair vengeance lpx rams which are low profile type rams because of height clearance. You could raise the fans on nh-d15 if you have taller ram sticks but since there is not much room (I'd say there's about 10mm or so clearance) between the cooler and tempered glass I'd stay with low-profile ram sticks such as vengeance lpx.

thank for the tips, I think I'll go with LPX Memory as I thought, cheers!

I have the same case with 3 120's in the front, how did you go about cutting the pop out shroud so you could still have it installed with the bottom fan in place? Dremel?

Jinair submitter 4 Builds 1 point 1 month ago

Yeah, I used dremel to cut it out.

Connekted420 1 point 1 month ago

Thanks, looks good man, clean build!

hey just thought i would mention that asrock released a bios update. you can now turn off that red led if you wanted

Jinair submitter 4 Builds 1 point 1 month ago

Wow, thanks man. I turned off all of other lights except that red led and I was getting annoyed TBH. haha

Wow, colour coordinated builds look so much better than RGB. Even if they are less versatile in colour choice, they still look way better. +1
