Description

All around powerhouse. This thing is an outrageous machine, hums through everything I've thrown at it. I've run burn tests, but haven't yet had the chance to run benchmarks.

Not in list: 2x Dell U2713H 2560x1440 monitors
MaxKeyboard Nighthawk X8 w/ MX Cherry Brown switches
Handful of 2tb WD Caviar Black hard drives for storage

High quality parts, great cable management, thing looks like a monster ;) good work!

I went a little over-the-top on the cable management, especially considering this thing doesn't have a window. Though, the satisfaction of knowing it looks great in spite of nobody ever seeing it makes me grin.

and you could always do a custom window ;)

Haha. You have the same RAM as me...

Looks like we both splurged in that aspect :)

Nice build, although you kind of went crazy on the motherboard. But hey, if you have the budget...

You could say the same thing about the whole build :P

Very nice though! Wish I had that budget.

Great build! Just wondering why not a custom water loop?

I wasn't willing to put in the time, effort, or research into that additional layer of complexity. Not to mention how finicky they can be, requiring additional maintenance down the line.

Actually is not that complex, its very simple. I recently finish my first build and I installed one. Maintenance is just something to do anyways at least once a year in the whole computer so... Anyways nice build!

More to come! And hopefully more than just a crummy set of phone pictures.

How do you like the keyboard? I've had my eye on it for a while now and it looks better than other mechanical keyboards to me.

I dig it. It's my first Mechanical Keyboard, and while the Ducky Shine II w/ Green LEDs and Brown switches was my first choice, it's out of stock everywhere.

I'm hardly disappointed with this Nighthawk though, it's wonderfully clicky. Brown switches were the right choice.

I am talking about the mount you used to have them on the desk. Not the monitors themselves

Nice! Be careful of it being near that hot window though :)
