After I built Marshmallow, a friend of mine asked me if could take a look at his PC. He always complained about how many bluescreens he has. Sometimes five in a row and once a bluescreen during a bluescreen. And he mentioned that his SSD is way too full with junk and also not the biggest capacity drive. So I looked into both issues.
The SSD swap was no big deal. But the cleaning of the tower was. I asked him when the last time was he cleaned it, he replied: “Never“ and on the Pictures you can see that. Dust bunnies everywhere. We cleaned it thoroughly then he left it in my “capable” hands and I started working.
I reassembled the PC (I didn’t think about writing a short piece about it so I didn’t take that many pictures and the ones I have are junk, sorry.) put in the new SSD and installed Windows 8.1.
He thanked me so much but also told me that there were still some bluescreens. I checked it via pic and dumps he sent me (some weird memory issue, I will look into it) but they are way less frequent that before.
I hope you liked it and I hope I can do some more builds in the future. The next bigger project is the PC for my brother. Have a fantastic evening and stay awesome folks.
PS: I hope my grammar doesn’t suck too bad. ;-) My grammar sadly was never very good.
PPS: I got a parts list. But i still can't add all the stuff into the build
Total cost of the rebuild: 111.60 € or 127.25 US$
