Description

Yeah I know psu is overkill and case too big for matx. But in my defense this was my first build and I am planning to upgrade this in the future to full atx mobo and add another one gtx 760 two way sli. I build this mostly for c++ programming and that is why 16 gigs of ram and for gaming. All the newest games on ultra high settings run very smooth.

Oh and btw.. Do not buy this particular graphics card from evga if you like silence.. Probably I'll swap the stock cooler with arctic accelero xtreme iv.

Great build, I've never actually seen that case or even a case like it before. It looks awesome, though I imagine it might be a pain to keep dust free haha. +1 from me.

yeah it gets dusty quickly. It stands on my desk so I want it to be nice and I have to clean it at least once a week.

Uh... why do you need 16GB of RAM to program?

When I have many issues with project it is very comfortable cause I'm writing very spacious codes and when I have to compile them about 20 times per hour it gives me some boost.

I use mine to run and and test on multiple virtual machines with different OSs or run a webserver, sql server, ect.

Why not just buy a full ATX mobo in the first place? You should have found one similar in the same price range with full 64GB ram support.

Yeah you're right I didn't thought it over at first, but even when I will be upgrading mobo and gtx's I could sell my rampage gene as used in excellent condition for I think decent price.

My wife is having me ask: How loud is it?

It's almost dead silent. If you turn off case fans the only hearable thing is graphics card which can be loud while playing some demanding games so you should seek for another.
