1st a little background (sorry for the novel)... I am 26 and recently went back to school to get a degree in Cyber Security. Computers have always amazed me and always wanted to build one but I have not had the knowledge of how to. After creeping in Reddit I was lead to this site and saw multiple builds and videos. So I decided to sell my recently purchased MacBook Pro to help fund my build. While visiting friends in NJ one of them wanted to go to MicroCenter and buy some RAM for his Mac. I've never heard of MicroCenter let alone see one, and MY GOD! I felt like a kid at a candy store. Luckily for me They had a bundle sale for an i7 and a ASUS Maximus Hero MOB so i jumped on it (was broke after that because at this point my Laptop has not sold yet to fund my Shenanigans). . . and that's when it ALL started, It took me one VERY long night and I completed it on my Birthday!!
When I was in Middleschool I did some PC gaming with CS and Battlefield but over time that little Dell was not cutting it and I just played on PS or Xbox platforms. OHHHHH man am I glad I came back to PC gaming. I currently play BF4 and this thing handles like a charm. Ultra settings and never dips below 60fps (maybe even 70)
I wanted a PC that is future proof (for the most part) and can handle almost anything I throw at it. So far I am very satisfied.
WHY Carbon fiber? WHY NOT?! hahah I LOVE Carbon Fiber, I used to drive a 2003 EVO and had alot of Carbon Fiber goodies in it and it just felt right. The process once again was not all that difficult, just like my build YouTube was the key to success!
**I am open to any suggestions or criticism, keep in mind this is my first computer, I've actually never touched a internal PC component, however considering I'm going into the Computer field I might as well familiarize myself now. (Sorry for the long post, and the Mix in quality of pictures taken, some where taken with phone and others by a DSLR *
