+ Total (United Kingdom):
This is my second build ever, and I thought I would just save it before I build my next one!
I named it Red Panda, as its both red and black, just like a red panda!
I haven't used it for too long but it has really served me well!
As it was going to stay in my room and I didn't want any silly LED's keeping me awake, and I wanted to make sure I had enough processing power for the stuff I do at school, and I didn't need to overclock (for now at least).
I really love this motherboard, for real, I love everything about it and recommend it whole heatedly.
The RAM is the cheapest out there since I didn't realise my MOBO was DDR4, so my DDR3 from my previous PC would not fit! I learnt from it though so its all good!
I didn't have much say in the GPU I got since it was a carry over from my last PC. I got it to run the flagships at the time (around 4-5 years ago), which it ended up not doing too well, but I could play Minecraft and league of legends so I was happy! LOL.
Same with the storage, I've had that bad boy for forever now xD Time for a new one I think!
The case I had bought a few years ago but had never used, I'd say it looks pretty nice, just wish it was tempered glass :(.
A 600W PSU was the minimum PSU I should get for the CPU and GPU, anything lower would of been sorta dangerous.
I. Love. This. Keyboard. I'm not even mad I didn't get the one above this, I'm more happy I saved the money than I would be if the keyboard was metal. And you cant go wrong with Cherry MX Brown switches.
I. HATE. THIS. MOUSE. XD. I've had it for years now (Maybe 7 years? So before my first custom build, when I was still playing on a Samsung laptop.) I need a new one. BAD. XD.
This headset is great, not only is it corsair, so it syncs with my keyboard, but its also 7.1! So I think its awesome!
The reason for the upgrade is I'm moving to USA soon! And I'm going to be building a whole new PC over there! (a double 1080ti build, you guys will love it when I post it! :D)
Thanks for taking time out of your day to read this. :)
For gaming I would rate this CPU a 4/5. This is solely due to it being a 6 core processor and not a quad core, and clocked higher. But as just a processor for everything, a solid 5/5. It hasnt let me down once and I've even overclocked it a small amount (Can't much more due to CPU cooler) I look to overclock this CPU a lot in the future :).
For the money, this is a very good cooler. Does what it says on the box and performs pretty well, the problem I had with it is its not powerful enough for the CPU I was running (6800K) so sometimes my CPU would start to throttle and get really, really slow. This is my fault though since I skimped out on this part of the PC! All around a decent CPU cooler for lower powered CPUs.
I don't know too much about motherboards but I really like the on and off switch included to test if it will post before putting it into the PC! The RGB support is also cool (even though I don't use it) And I also like how the colour matches my theme :). One thing I do know about is the overclocking support on this motherboards BIOS is INSANE. Theres so much you can do with this board overclocking wise. It even has 2 modes, advanced and simple, depending on your knowledge... I highly recommend this PC to anyone trying to beat overclocking world records, or to someone who just wants a good motherboard for everything! :D
Great budget stick of ram, I haven't had any problems with it at all and it works just fine!
Stores stuff, is okay, nothing more to say! :)
Has been the soul of my build for 4 years now, even though I'm upgrading, this card has served me so well. Has NEVER failed me, and is able to run every flagship of its time. AKA, GTA, Outlast, Portal 2, etc!
One of the best purchases I ever made.
Good case for wire management, even an idiot like me can make a neat build with this thing! Highly recommend.
Great for lower standing builds! Would maybe go up to 700 just to future proof but its lasted me long enough :)
I love this keyboard to bits! I don't think I could play any games without it at this point! I'm so attached!
Has lasted me literally 8 years with no problems. I'm using it as I type this! I wouldn't recommend now but it was amazing for its time.
This is a great budget wireless gaming headset! Corsair so it can sync with my other corsair devices and 7.1 for that COD style sound whoring :D
