Description

So this is a PC I built for my girlfriend after she has had some trouble with her really bad laptop. The thing is, she is a gamer and would need a more powerful PC to run some of the heavier games she plays. We are with this build, talking 60 solid FPS on games like GTA V, Assassin's Creed Unity etc on high settings. Yes, I know, the chipset doesn't really match her processor, but I am going to change that to a more powerful CPU when I get the chance. What do you think? Me, personally, think that this is a good first-time gaming PC for a girl who doesn't really care about graphics or the highest FPS on games. I am going to change the parts, and give her a new case as this one does not support USB 3.0.

Anyways, I am thinking of either getting a brand new graphics card, or give her another 660 so she can SLI them. I have to think about saving SOME money, as I have spent quite a bit on her build already. Any comments on how I can make this a better PC is appreciated, although I have some idea already on how to make it better.

i would advise selling that 660 and going for a brand new card. that two GB frame buffer is gonna cripple her in newer titles. Maybe an RX 480 or GTX 1060 would be a nice upgrade :D

I mean, two gb is the minimum for video memory for most games and probably will be for a longer time, and as I mentioned, she doesn't really care for the highest graphics, she just wants it to work

That i5 should be fine, I don't think you need to upgrade it.

Although avoid SLIing GTX 660's, getting a new card is a much better idea :)

BTW you really need a better camera :P but solid build +1

EDIT: also just noticed you don't have a solid state drive, GET ONE!

A new card would be pretty expensive to me, and I can get a 660 easy and almost free, so I might stick with that tbh

Also, the camera is not mine, I asked my girlfriend if she could take a couple of pictures with her phone, but that quality is not the greatest as her phone is old

I am working on getting an SSD, that's actually my next step
