Description

This is my Gaming PC, as well as my Workstation.

I use it mainly for gaming and media streaming, as well as minor video editing and lots of multitasking

This was built over a year ago, but due to a new case and some small upgrades, i figured i would share it!

I currently am running a dual monitor setup as well as a Razer Black Widow Ultimate and a Razer Deathadder mouse.

Constructive criticism welcomed.

So you get a Z77 motherboard and a locked processor... weird would be an understatement.

when i ordered the parts a year ago, the supplier was really low on parts at that time, i took what i could.

Just because you get a Z motherboard, doesn't mean you have to get an unlocked CPU. Many Z motherboards come with features that H77 board do not.

I love your build. I'm sure you're getting pretty good temps, but if you want better you might consider rotating your radiator and switching the orientation of your cpu fan so that it pulls heat towards your top 220mm (230mm?) exhaust fan. It's a brilliant move putting a big exhaust fan on the top like that, so don't negate its efficiency by placing an intake fan so close to it. I suggest blocking off that vent where the back intake fan currently is and having 2 120mm intake fans at the bottom front of the case. Before you do all this work, please note your temps at idle and under load so you will be able to measure the improvement and thank me appropriately afterwards :).

Yer i actually don't have the H100i yet or the 770, but i will in the next few weeks, im probably going to re upload as a new build, thanks for the tips!

A Lot of what is in the pics is actually quite out-dated, i need to upload some more stuff, apologies.

Consider routing the PSU power cable behind the motherboard tray.

In that case, wouldn't it have been best to save and get an i5?

it was an option, i still feel the i7 benefits my needs more, also back then i was doing a lot more video editing as well as small game design projects

thank you, i see where i could of done better along the line, but at the end of the day, it runs superbly, and i haven't had any troubles.

Just with all the research i have been doing lately, its so much cheaper to purchase computer hardware in america, also a lot bigger range, rather sad :(
