Description

Daily driver for gaming and light pen testing in the home test environment. Obligatory cat tax in last picture.

Many components were purchased in 2018 and sat in the closet until everything finally came in. I debated for a long time on whether I was going to block the GPU or upgrade to a RTX 2080 Ti - in the end, just couldn't justify the price to upgrade and decided to add the 1080 Ti to the loop.

I'm fairly happy with the end result, though a couple of the more complex bends turned out sloppier than I'd have liked, but I was running low on tubing and decided to leave them for the time being. GPU upgrade is likely going to be either next year or the following, and will likely swap the bends then. Temperatures stay very stable during load, and synthetics have been very promising. I have yet to find a game that makes the 1080 Ti sweat, especially now with the improved overclock over air.

Elder Motes! Great group of guys. https://www.bungie.net/en/ClanV2?groupid=3180550

And yeah, literally nothing scratches the thing. I'm shocked at how well it's still holding up.

+1 for a great looking build, but mostly for that good-boi cat.
