Description

This machine was my dream for over 2 years. Now, it has finally come true.

Ah, the Ryzen 3 2200G, so cheap, yet so FAST! Allocated 2GB to video, so its basically a 1050.

Stock CPU Cooler because SHHHHH IM BEING STEALTHY!

Buuut... the mobo is RGB filled so RIP stealth.

Not to mention the fact that my RAM is hella bright.

HDD is a hybrid because GOTTA GO FAST (ish).

The case I got on sale for 79.99 at Micro Center. It is massive.

I had to substitute the PSU on that I bought for the one on the list, but they are basically identical.

The monitor, well, 2 monitors, are from my friend, and one I had already.

So in conclusion, it is a meme computer. It is actually god in the flesh.

UPDATE: I recently got a dedicated GPU, an Asus Strix Vega 56, and am hoping to upgrade to Ryzen 5 or 7 soon!

Part Reviews

CPU

If you are on a tight budget because of your mom, than this is the CPU for you.

A little tip for this CPU; if you have a good bit of RAM (8GB+) try allocating more to the graphics. In the BIOS, find your integrated graphics settings or UMA frame buffer size setting. Raise it to 2GB if you'd like. I think it works.

Motherboard

It works! The RGB could be a bit more flashy, but for the price it's a great mobo in both looks and functionality!

Memory

It's so... bright... and it's good stuff too! It's a must have if you want an RGB build with aura!

Storage

It's fast and it's mass storage! What's not to love?

Case

It's a good case for the money I payed, but the case came with a splitter for the RGB fans, so I couldn't have them sync individually.

I have the same apu In my current build. I would caution though, a gtx1050 will blow the vega 8 graphics out of the water. While the vega 8 is good, a dedicated gpu will most of the time out perform a igpu.

Thanks for the link!

My friend has a 1070 (I think TI) and he runs basically everything at high/max settings.

My PC runs most things at mid/high settings, but either way I don't play many AAA games...

Skyrim run flawlessly on Max (I know, old)

Minecraft (Its a sin) runs almost everything at max with me hosting a server in the background and with like 25 mods.

CS:GO I haven't tested FPS on, but it seems good at max.

And Fortnut runs at 60fps at some quality I don't remember.

I was on a tight budget and couldn't afford a graphics card, and even now I am 200$ in debt to my mom lol.

at the price point of 150 id save and push for a 1050ti. I see them used in that price range or new for a few bucks more. I think the 2400's major factor is the multithreading. I am doing mine as a budget build so that's why I went with it.

It sure will!

I was thinking, if/when the GPU mining craze goes downhill, I could buy a 1070, and it would be so cool if it was Asus ROG too!

Bro there are rumors about a hella big shipment of graphic cards releasing sometime this month or next month and that should drop the graphic cards down in price a good bit

Sadly I definitely wont have enough money to buy even a 1030. Thanks for letting me know though!
