Description

I use this computer for gaming and homework, everything has gone very well with it so far. Note: I actually used TEAM Vulcan Ram, but they don't have it on this site so I put in the Ripjaws instead, and some components I bought at a local Frys electronics so the prices aren't listed correctly.

I just got back from the eye doctor he said my eyes are fine. You might consider drinking less before taking your pictures.

From a parts stand point everything looks a-ok. Cable management could use work, but I have a feeling that case doesn't offer a lot for rear space.

Either the pics are a bit blurry or I am still drunk. Like some things, (CPU/Mobo), dont care for others (Case/Video/PSU). But overall not a not a bad build.

Good efforts on cable management. I don't think there is much room on the backside of the mobo tray to route cables there, but that would have been the preferred place to run them. Game on!

This is really unbalanced, you should have gone with an fx-6300 and a better GPU.

Thanks for the comments, There really isnt anywhere to run wires in the back of the case, the video card and fans get in the way, so i thought it would be better for airflow if i just stuck all the extra wres in the open drive bays. I found out doing research after I had already bought parts that the GPU would be a bit of a bottleneck. So far it hasnt been as bad as I thought. I dont mind the case, and I agree with you guys about the power supply, after doing more research, im thinking about getting a better one.

It's alright for the price. I personally would have added the ssd later down the road. Even though the i5 isn't much of a budget cpu, what that does mean is that you can add a better video card down the road with any conflicts, or buying another cpu. So I give you props for that.

How's the mouse and keyboard? Also you probably should of went amd, to save some money, and got a better power supply.

Great build! Looks like you need to be more choicey about the pics. It has a nice upgrade route.

everything looks decent here. mobo is a little overpriced for what it has.

bro you're doing it wrong. with that budget i can fit a radeon 7870, a good 120gb ssd, a 600w 80+ power supply, even an os.

What parts should I have used?

Eww that case and PSU are going to have to go mate, the PSU will kill your system (most likely)and that case kills off the aesthetics of the build. Besides those little gripes, I really like the fact you have an SSD and I like the fact you got a k series CPU and a Z77 mobo, both good choices.

The rosewill psu isn't bad. It isn't amazing, but it won't kill his system. Raidmax psus, like the one that came with the case, kill systems.
